Man, do I have no life or what? 4000 posts! Well, I am only 391 posts shy of my old "record" on the previous version of this board. I can't belieev that board took me about 2 years to get to that number, while here it took me all of six months to get this much.
Yup. I have no life. :)

Probably about 3000 of those have been news items, and maybe another 500 telling everyone else to calm down their arguments.
The other 500 are just junk though. :p
Nice going DG!

Wow...makes my 1000+ posts seem small. Good Job, DG! It's the first time on any board I've seen anyone ever reach that number.
....Don't worry about having no life. You're not alone!:D

That's ok. We forgive you. I posted like crazy to get to my old number from the old boards too. Something about having a goal that makes you just want to put in that extra twenty percent!

All right, here's my goal, lets see if I reach it.

I think you may be able to make it, Joker85. If not, I think you will reach at least 800 by the years end.

The fact that we'll have something pretty major to discuss (JUSTICE LEAGUE!!!!) will get that post count up there....

November & December will be huge months. We got JL, Monster Inc, Harry Potter, The One, X-files, Simpsons, Futurama, for example. It's only uphill from here!!

Just wondering...what would happen if Brian set up this site like the DVDTalk.com forums, where the post numbers are not kept track of?

Hm....a LOT more members may suddenly start posting up. I dunno why, but since they won't be feared to be seen as newbies, we'd have lots more people talking. Plus, we may not have celebratory topics like this one...;)
Go to a 1000 posts, everyone! You can do it! :)

I never have understood that rule you must post ten times to get an avatar. Of course, ten posts isn't alot, really, and some of the sites that use this software (like DVDTalk) don't even allow members to post avatars, so I guess we are lucky!

I've been trying to get that done. I dunno why, but I'd rathar have my post numbe roff the board then just seeing it getting bigger and bigger. He's been's been trying to make it work for the individual but can't.
