Oh No! St. Joe's!

Dang, the little school that could, apparently ran out of magic today. I was really rooting for them to finish the season off undefeated. For a school like them to do that, would've been really amazing. The loss doesn't diminish their season, but I was really hoping that they'd make a place for themselves in the history books. Ah well. I don't think they'll make the Final 4, but here's hoping they've got some magic left in the tank.

Every team has to lose eventually, but they did finish the season undefeated. Yesterday they lost in the Atlantic 10 tournament. I'm a huge fan of St. Joe's and this season has really been exciting.

True. But in the books, I think their record will end up listed as 27-1. I really hope they don't lose a #1 seed because of this. What I don't understand, is that there seems to be so many people out there taking glee in St. Joe's loss and pointing out their deficiencies. And I don't mean just opposing fans, which is understandable, but sportswriters too. Instead of realizing how amazing this once in a lifetime team is, they keep focusing on St. Joe's weaknesses, because they're a team that, normally, has no business being #1. I just find this really annoying. What ever happened to supporting the underdog?
