I loved it. I went in with a bad attitude, thinking it was going to be just another Dawson's Party of Felicity, but I was pleasantly shocked. The story was strong, the special effects were impressive, and the actors did a nice job too. The only problem I have is this 24-year old guy playing Clark Kent as a high school freshman. I could maybe buy him as a senior or junior, but not as a freshman.

I will definitely watch it again.

The age thing is a bit difficult to take, but I've decided to adpot the line of thinking were Kryptonian teens mature more rapidly than humans. Corny maybe, but it works in my head.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with the show. The story was strong, the special effects impressive, and the actors talented. I also liked and appreciated the subtle, yet noticeable ways that symbolism was used. In a way, almost every incarnation of the Superman mythos was attended to in one way or another. I'm very excited about this series and will definitely be watching.

I haven't been this excited about a new series in a long time. I really hope the quality of programming I saw last night continues to remain consecutive thru out the entire series. I was suprised to see as much superman powers used last night as we did, as I didn't think they were going to show him using that many powers at the beginning of the series but make him stronger as the series goes on.

I can't wait to see where this show goes. It really is a great rebirth for the character, I think, and I felt it perfectly blended qualities of not only the original Superman movie but also Unbreakable, which explored a normal man discovering he has super normal powers, and it also blended the human drama quite well into the series. I have great hopes for this show.
