Power Rangers: Countdown to Destruction Questions-please answer

I was wondering if any of you reading this could answer these questions.
In the Finale of CTD when Zordon's energy touches Rita and Zedd, they are transformed instaneously, yet it has a DELAYED effect on Astronema/Karone. Why? Also does anyone know if when Rita and Zedd
returned to human form were those the same people who had been playing them all the time, but just out of costume( Carla Perez, and Ed Neil, respectfully[though Rita was played in season 1 by Machiko Soga])?

Does anyone also know why some villians totally disintegrated(like the
Machine Empire) while others just changed form (Rita and Zedd)? Were the former truly evil, while the others were just under a spell of Dark Spector's?

Also did'nt Coundown to Destruction seem like a SERIES,rather than just a season Finale? So many loose ends were tied up, like for instance, Bulk and Skull FINALLY found out who the rangers were, something they tried to do since the second season?
That's part of why I'm surprised that PR is STILL going, but I guess
the Subsequent season are really no connection to the first five. Correct?

Actually from what I gather Karone was killed by it, and her brother's love for her is what revived her back to life...sappy I know but it worked:sweat:

It was both, well just a bit.
It was the end of MMPR and the silly antics[other then some of PRNS] and PR was going far beyond their fad age and it was time to get serious if they wanted to last longer then the latest dead horse.
