No Popeye video/dvd release in sight

Was on the chat room with TW, and Argus asked them about the B&W Popeye's along with the two reel shorts, and there are no plans at all for the Fleischer/Popeye cartoons to see the light of day on video/dvd.

They wait until next year and see what happens :eek: :eek:

I think WB is going to get serious with King Features.

It looks like the company that gave Citizen Kane, North By Northwest, Snow White, Now Voyager, and Doctor Zhivago digital restorations did the digital restoration for the Popeye cartoons.
