I was in my local HMV store today when I discovered a UK version of "Looney Tunes - The Golden Collection". It is the same 4-disc box set as the Region 1 version, and has more or less the same front & back covers. I can only find this at HMV, and on its on-line store too (click on the link below for details):

Even though I'm pleased that we have got this collection, there are two things about this box set that really annoys me:
1. Warner UK's decision to make this an HMV-exclusive box set. I can imagine the few UK Looney Tunes fans (who, for some reason, can not buy the Region 1 version) being disappointed about this after buying the "All-Stars" DVDs, which are widely available.
2. According to the HMV website, there are a few significant extras that are not included on the UK version: the "Boys From Termite Terrace" documentary, the "Irreverent Imagination" documentary, trailer gallery, and schematics. But we do get four interactive games.
I'm glad I bought the Region 1 box set. ;)
