So I was looking through the guide for tomorrow, and I came across this movie (http://imdb.com/title/tt0022639/combined). It's on Turner Classic Movies tomorrow at 1 AM Pacific.
Has anyone seen this?(or does anyone know any more about it?) I nearly jumped out of my seat when I saw the name. Besides, it has the Barrymore brothers in it, so how bad can it be? :¬}

Because only I am up at this time of the morning...
There is also a modern version of it filming. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0373690/)
There is the new Lupin. (http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0306734/Ss/0306734/133-27a.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Duris,%20Romain)
Apparently the French have decided that Lupin will wear the Red Jacket.

That's the same name as the Black Knight in Don Rosa's Uncle Scrooge comics. Now I know where Keno Don got the name from.

Damn, SSJPabs, that is insane...
I just hope that Lupin shaves before shooting starts. Can't have a Lupin with a fuzzy chin. :¬)
Oh, and it's now tonight at 1 AM... that is, against Sunday night AS.
<-- just realized that it might have been a touch unclear the other way
*does some looking*
Oh! They're all based on some early-twentieth century novels that I hadn't heard about and some junk. I get it now. :¬)

The guy in your movie is Maurice LeBlanc's Lupin (aka Lupin I for fans of Monkey Sensei). Shame this was on at the dead of night, I would have liked to see it.

It's on tonight.... so tape it. Then tape over it. >;¬)

That didn't actually dawn on me until you mentioned it. Definately one of the things that make you go "hmm."

Nice to see that there's apparently still a tie to Cagliostro. I wonder if the original Lupin has any better luck with that place than his grandson will.

In the original story, Lupin marries Clarisse.
