Corn on the Cop (Spector, 1965)
An Itch in Time (Clampett, 1943) (Blue Ribbon) (edited*)
The Cat's Tale (???, 1941) (Blue Ribbon)
Dog Gone Modern (Jones, 1939) (Blue Ribbon)

* A fake iris-out occurred as the cat said "Now I've seen everything!"

Oh, did you notice how Dog Gone Modern appeared to turn B/W as the iris-out occured? What's with that?

Edit: Just watched Dog Gone Modern again, it appears that the small dog doesn't trigger the Orchestra and Tone controls on the automatic piano. But the instruments still pop out of the top! Was there a deletion? (I haven't seen the original version)

There was also a splice in "The Cats Tale", I think it was an accident.

Here's whats on next saturday.

"Hollywood Daffy"
"Doggone Cats"
"Little Orphan Airedale"
"Crackpot Quail"

The BBC did show that cartoon uncut.
