Acme Hour - 10/16/01 (help needed)

I missed the first two cartoons on last night's Acme Hour. If anyone knows what they were, please reply.

Can't really help you, but I have a question:

Was "Wolf In Sheik's Clothing" shown with its original titles? I remember this one being made in Polacolor...

Well, I saw part of it, & it was in Polacolor last night; it said so @ the end.

The first short was Droopy in "Dumb-Hounded" (a laugh riot..."You know what? I'm the hero of this picture."). Unfortunately that second short's title/plot has gone right out of my head for the moment.... :(

And of course the high point of "Bear Raid Warden" was Barney unwittingly trashing his own house, forgetting he'd left every light in the joint burning....

Is it my imagination, or were some of the frames in "Sheik's Clothing" pretty faded? Is that the nature of Polacolor? Note the colors look deeper in closeups than in pan-aways, esp. fleshtones....

The second cartoon was "Vacation With Play", a Popeye cartoon with AAP titles.
