Kids'WB! has released the name of an upcoming new episode of X-Men: Evolution, scheduled to air on October 27th. The episode is called The Beast of Bayville and will likely focus on new character Hank McCoy. In the regular comics, Hank McCoy's X-Men alias is The Beast. The character is currently featured in comic New X-Men.
Hank McCoy will make his debut in this weekend's upcoming episode, Fun & Games.
Also, X-Men: Evoltuion has become Kids'WB!'s highest rated show, and has done so for five consecutive weeks! X-Men: Evolution, at 10:30 a.m. (ET), ranked first among its time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.1 rating/12 share), Kids 6-11 (3.4/14), Boys 2-11 (4.1/15), Girls 2-11 (2.0/8) and Girls 6-11 (2.4/11). The show's ratings has increased since it's premiere last year.
In a related note, Marvel Comics has released an image from the December shipping issue of Uncanny X-Men, which will feature the debut of the new artist, Ron Garney. Below is the image, taken from page three of the upcoming issue. The issue will be apart of the company's 'Nuff Said event. Click on the image for a bigger picture.
