Kiddy Grade questions

I saw the Kiddy Grade trailers and it looks pretty good. Is it? Does it have any nudity or graphic violence? I'm a father and have two daughters to think about. Since the main characters are female i thought it might be good for them.

Well, people fire guns, and Eclair gets shot/stabbed (Can't remember) in the first three episodes

Well, ya got fanservice, plus a little extra in the extras (WHY THE HELL IS IT LUMIERE?!)

I was kind of hoping there wouldn't be any, and that they'd just stick to the fairly light kind of fanservice that's been present on the first disc...

FYI: The promo DVD consists mostly of scenes that weren't even IN the series. A lot of them were just made for the promo.
(Like: Armbrust's huge..gun. and the fight between Eclair and the huge guy. (I think his name is Ei-oh.)

I've been told that the nudity itself is limited to the promo, and the anime has only fanservice.

Most of the nudity I have seen is the "Sailor Moon" nudity meaning there's an outline of their bare breast, but no nipples.

FYI: The promo DVD consists mostly of scenes that weren't even IN the series.Ah, I suspected that might be the case. Good to hear that what's there is limited to non-detail nudity, too.

I wasn't really that impressed with the first episode when I saw it way back after it aired in Japan. Not that it was particularly bad or anything, I was just like, "Okay, pretty animation, some nice fanservice (except when it involved Lumiere -- ack!)...eh, I've got too much else to watch right now." I don't know that I would've been particularly compelled to pick it up here, except for two things:

1) That awesome promo Funimation made.

2) A while after the series had aired in Japan, I inadvertantly caught wind of a certain...er, something...that occurs about midway through the series. I don't want to say anything more because it could be the mother of all spoilers, assuming I interpreted what I heard properly. Anyways, suffice it to say, I'm very interested in seeing how they handle...it.

To the original poster, if you don't mind spoilers, you might want to ask someone who's seen the show about what I'm speaking of. If I'm right about what I heard (though I could certainly be wrong), then it might have an impact on whether or not you'd be okay with showing it to your daughters (depending on how old they are).

You should try the internet then.

1) Yes there are some nude parts but it's not bad. But in the extras the little promo i believe has a scene.

2) And Yes there is violence but not to bad I would say.

Kiddy Grade get an A+ from me. I totally love the series.:)

Unfortunately Best Buy gift cards aren't excepted online for some reason... :shrug:
