So, they didn't play "We're in the Money." That figures. Oh, well. At least, they're still playing pre-1948 cartoons.

Daffy at 5th and Bugs at 7th on this Bugs & Daffy edition? Who's not habitualy the inverse?

It's nice that they put in a B&W Porky (even if it was computer colorized). They're rarely seen on CN these days. I remember when Nickelodeon used to play them to death.

I don't know. I've kind of noticed that they do play quite a few computer-colorized Porky's on late-night broadcasts, just not on the Saturday morning "Looney Tunes" show. Incidentally, maybe I shouldn't mention this, but they haven't played a Speedy cartoon in quite a while now. I hope they're not planning on banning him again or anything like that. I just thought I'd bring that up.

I noticed something interesting about two of the cartoons they aired on Bugs and Daffy. "Boobs in the Woods" looked great...I could swear they used the DVD restored version. The color was much more vibrant than I remember seeing anyplace other than the DVD. Then there was "Yankee Doodle Daffy"...they used a very old TV copy of that one, with the little character/title blurb that used to air on all pre-1948 cartoons before CN acquired the post-48 material and did the dubbed versions.

Did BOOBS IN THE WOODS have DVNR? If it did, it's the Golden Collection version.

I don't notice that kind of thing unless I'm looking for it. It could have had that, but all I noticed was that it was uncut and had very nice, vibrant color.

Yes, that must've been the version from the Columbia House "Daffy Doodles" video. It's a perfect print on that, while on the Golden Collection it has DVNR. Watch your GC closely and you'll see Daffy's feet blur during the opening.

Basically, for the post-A.A.P. library, there's no difference in the quality from those CH videos on the DVDs... Unless they slow down the sound tracks or DVNR them...

Who's that DVNR?
