Has anyone got Teen Titans #8 yet? It has a big picture of Raven in the front and say "Introducing Raven" in the front too. Well normally I wouldn't bother with a TT comic but since it had Raven, eh, why not? Well I read it and thought it was great. Showed Raven's origin and was awesome. Highly recommendded to any Raven fan.
(Sorry if there is already a thread on this but I couldn't find one.)

The reason you probably couldn't find one, is because this forum is for animated discussion only--all mainstream comic talk goes on the Comic Book Forum...which is where this is going.

It was ok. I prefer issues with Mike McKone's art. I'm a little interested in the Ravager. I wish we saw more of Raven though. You should stick to the book, it's always pretty good.

It was fun seeing Raven's origin and the originol Titans, but I think this was basically filler. The Robin thing with Bats was interesting and all, but besides that we really just got a fight and a re-cap. Honestly I'm low on funds and had to read Plastic Man and Fables in the store, I should of spent my money on one of those and just picked up on Titans next month... I wouldn't of missed much.

And I am Still trying to get this issue since I have reasons I want to get it, I mean this was also talked about at many of the forums including Animation Insider, and Knowing about Raven's origin, or any other person's origin very intersting, and so if they can have it at my comic book store somtime next month, I'll be able to read up on it, and see how good it is because there are many of my friends on LJ that like this comic better then the animation version.

Hell, I'm just relieved to finally find out what happened to Raven after all this time. The last I remember, she went psycho and broke up Nightwing's wedding waaaay back in New Titans #100. I dropped the book shortly after (as, apparantly, most readers did) and didn't see her again until--I think--the JLA vs Titans mini, where she was inexplicably back to normal.
I gotta say, I didn't think much of this book at all when it first came out, but I'm really digging it now.

Jeez how many kids does Deathstroke have?
I'm lovin this new Titans book. I have liked every issue and the new group is great. I like these charcters better then the League. I think there is going to be a big future story with Superboy. Maybe have him going a lil Darth Vader and side with Lex.
Finally got to see Ravens origin which I had no clue about before this. Great books a must read.

Far as i'm aware 3. Joe(Jericho) and Grant(The original Ravager), plus his daughter Rose. But really as a Titans fan, i'm wondering what happened with rose. Last i saw she was Arsenal's daughter Lian's nanny. Hopefully we'll get an explanation soon.

I personally don't need all that much in the way of explanation. She's one of the deadliest women in the world, she's gonna spend the rest of her life guarding some dumb hippie's lovechild? :) Talk about marginalizing a potentially great character.
