Fairly Odd (and late to the post) Valentine

Delia really liked this one, as did a lot of other people, so I thought I'd post it here to start me up with visiting the Toonzone forums again (I am so inconsistent, aren't? :yawn: ).

That was my Valentine's Day picture (even though I really don't care for the holiday). Cosmo and Wanda ^_^ My colored pencil skills are very lacking...

I love how you did the hair--- you took it from being so 2 dimensional to having depth... and I JUST NOTICED... their crowns are glowing and give off light onto their hair! awesome!

Not to mention alot diffrent then the Cartoon Version, except the facial parts are a bit close to that version, but also almost near the anime like quallity too, that is really nice picture you have drawn, great work. :)

Yay!! I'm so glad you noticed the crowns reflecting on the hair :D I was so proud of myself for thinking about that, it was just a completely random thought that went through my head!

Awesome stuff Alienfirst! You should come around here much, much more! I really like your style, and colored pencil’s rock! They are a pain though, I agree with that! A tip, I discovered, is that you can use an old pencil eraser (that’s cheap!) and actually smear the colors to make it look, I don’t know, like something else. But anyhow, that was random, but it helped me… so just friendly info.



I really love your shoes. Not yours, but the drawings… I don’t know I might like your shoes, I haven’t seen them so… but anyhow… um, I also love the clothes! Especially the shirts! Very talented! I hope to see more ol’sport.
