Stuff that rule:
-Clone wars-10 new episodes
-Duck Dodgers-second season of 13 new episodes beginning June 26.
Also good:
-Totally Spies, 13 new episodes in April
I read that Billy and Mandy are supposed to have new episodes, too. That's cool. It's also supposed to reach 52 episodes.

I'm surprised Evil Con Carne got new episodes. I thought they weren't going to make that any more.
The Puffy Amiyumi series sounds a bit odd, though.
And isn't greenlighting C:KND all the way to a sixth season kind of overkill?

I was caught off guard as well. My guess is that there some some work on these already and Atoms asked to finish up the episodes. Or they could still be the left over ones.
17 episodes for PPG seems a little odd to announce unless 9 of them were already shown (total of 26 episodes). And KND to 6 seasons was a big surprise for me, this series must really be a big hit for CN to do that.
The PuffyAmiYumi show sounds like a bad Barbire rip-off, but I'm going to watch just because it has Puffy AmiYumi in it. I wonder if there will be any TT cameos (such as a poster in the background ot something)?
EDIT: Just saw the promo image. Now I'm scared, yet Ami is cute. This sounds like a super-crazy series a la DiGi Charat or something like that.
Ami & Yumi WILL be doing the voices for their characters, right?
And Atomic Betty sounds like that craptacular Saban-version of Sailor Moon, except with Jane Jetson.

Juniper Lee is created by Judd Winnick. Woot.
I bet Mo and Tom are walking on clouds right now. Six seasons.

New Shows
-Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi
That's a show?
First, t.A.T.u. ('http://www.tatu-paragate.jp/'), now this. Will this be a pattern like back in the 1970s with Jodie and the Pussycats and even anime with their own popstars cartoons? :D

I'm stumped, does anyone know what Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi, it is somthing that is anime/animation related or a live action thing, because I know there are alot of people who like this group, and I just need to know if there are any hints from this series?

That link has a promo pic for Ami (The cute one) and Yumi (The punker-ish one).
It's going to be mostly about the two's adventures in show business or just hanging out in Tokyo (I'm so glad it's in Tokyo), with videos of the group's J-Pop hits somewhere in there (most likely at the end).
At least this show should be better than Weiss Kruz.

So Evil Con Carne is on the schedule, but not Robot Jones??
Will there be any new or leftover Robot Jones episodes premiering this year??

It's about danged, bloody time they got some new Totally Spies episodes. Too bad they've possibly killed the show for some by showing the exact same episodes every week.
These other shows sound interesting....to say the least.

If this Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi is a made-for-CN show, then nobody could complain that they're pronouncing the Japanese words wrong because English is the original language of the show. :D
And anything is better than Weiss Kreuz. When disguising wanna-be singers as characters in a TV show to promote their careers, make sure they can sing first. :D

Two shows I'll definately be waiting for:
Totally Spies--I love those 3 girls!;) :D
Justice League Unlimited--can't wait to see Supergirl and Zatanna again!;)
I'll also check out the new eps of Duck Dodgers. It's good but, IMHO, it's mainly for little kids. I'll only watch 'em once.
Same goes for Teen Titans, although that's for pre-teens.
My li'l thoughts:
- Meags XLR
Should be good. I missed the pilot but I did watch a clip and it seems promising.. even if I do not like mecha shows...
-Foster's Home of Imaginary Friends
Should be fun, I dunno! The backstory about that bird imaginary friend is kinda creepy but she should be hilarious. :D And I like the Powerpuff Girls so I'll definitely watch.
-JL Unlimited
I'm not a huge fan of the original Justice League, but I'll at least watch some of it to see what has changed... other than the name.
-Atomic Betty
Sounds like a preschool show. If it's anything from what I've seen online, it will be. I'm probably not going to watch it.. I think it's French?
-Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi
What.... the......... Well... um... the designs are sorta cute and original, but I really hate cartoons based off celebrities. Maybe I'll give it a chance. CN must REALLY like PuffiAmiYumi, huh?
-The Life and Times of Juniper Lee
I hope this girl knows how to fight. I like fantasy, so it should be promising, but since there are no promo pics, I'm not sure what to expect.
Hurray for more episodes of Teen Titans and Powerpuffs. :)

Hi Hi Puffy and Atomic Betty sound promising as far as new toons go.
More episodes of Duck Dodgers, Clone Wars, Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls and Totally Spies? That rocks! I love all of those toons! But...
What about Dexter's Lab? And, what about the Johto Journeys (Season 3) of Pokemon?

One thing the PR said, was with the new JB episodes their will also be a half-hour special, is that the Hollywood one or a new one. I'm assuming that it was the Hollywood one.

Isn't some wolf(rain?) title missing from new list?
Anyway is there any pics of these new shows? Wondering if any of them use nice animation like JL or he-man? I might actually reactivate satellite! My guess it usual lazy crayon animation to churn out as many as possible.

Wolf's Rain is Adult Swim. This is just for general Cartoon Network (i.e. anything not anime, not Toonami, and not Adult Swim).
There's a promo image above for Puffy AmiYumi and Atomic Betty, but they don't say much.

Whoo-hoo! New episodes of TS April! 'Bout friggin' time!:D
You forgot Astroboy.
As with Wolf's Rain, it ain't going on general CN. It'll be on Toonami in March then move back to Kids' WB! in April.
Why won't CN just announce when Starcrossed will air? This is starting to get on my nerves.

Supposedly it will premiere on the new Saturday Toonami, though I don't know if it's confirmed or not.

I have seen nothing about a date for Starcrossed, just a vague picture of what month or quarter it will air.

Yeah, you'd think they'd announce that before they announced when Season 3 premieres.

Atomic Betty, the show AWN's been yapping about for months, is finally coming to Cartoon Network.
I can't wait to see Justice League Unlimited, and FHFIF sounds interesting.
I doubt PuffyAmiYumi will be good though.

In case Animation Insider doesn't want to use a lot of bandwith, I posted their pictures on my site. Be conservative, don't view them too much.

Puffy Amiyumi is a Japanese music group so I don't understand how that could be a show.

For Teen Titnas, you'd need to correct it and make it season 3, because season 2 of Teen Titans is currently airing. With Teen Titans they're doing 4 seasons with 13 episodes each. That will give them the 52 episodes that Warner Brothers typically does for a series. Also, Teen Titans did season 1 in the summer, season 2 here in the winter, season 3 will be this summer, and the final season will be next winter. If the ratings stay up there, then they will keep Teen Titans around past 4 seasons, but they will have to change the name much like they did with Justice League.
As for Justice League Unlimited, it's going to Toonami. People may not like that, but in the release they specifically stated that Toonami will feature continuing shows like Justice League and Dragonball Z, as well as getting new series such as Transformers Energon (going over from SVES), Cyborg 009- Season 2 after they finish season 1 (going over from SVES), Rurouni Kenshin (going over from SVES), Dragonball GT (going over from SVES), etc. Of corse CN does always have the right to change their mind, but we'll see.
As for Poke'mon: Jhoto Journeys coming to CN, it'll happen soon (especially if they're going to do the Noa arc of Yu-Gi-Oh!), but I think they want all the Jhoto stuff to finish on Kids WB! before airing it on CN. Currently Master Quest still airs on weekdays on Kids WB!, and occasionally they'll go back and show some from Jhoto League Champions, so as soon as Advanced takes the regular weekday slot from Poke'Mon on Kids WB!, then you can expect the rest of the Orange Islands and the entire Jhoto saga to come on down. I'd also suspect that they'll air the reruns of seasons 1 & 2 (Indigo Plateau & Orange Islands) early on weekdays, and the newer episodes from Orange Islands would probably air after Miguzi on weeknights.

I doubt KWB would stop showing "Johto" until "Advanced" builds enough episode count to handle the weekday reruns on its own. I would think 4Kids already has enough episodes in the can to do that, but they would have to allow the weekend episodes to go beyond the pace of the Saturday ones.
I noticed "Molly Star Racer" was not included in any announcements. I wonder if it will ever come over, if not on CN (why not get something like it to alternate with "Totally Spies" on Miguzi, since TS has been so badly overexposed), maybe somewhere else?

The trouble is, I don't believe they are really new TS episodes, just the last half of Season 2 that CN for some reason had chosen to withhold from us. After rerunning the same episodes to death over six months, I think we were owed some Season 3 episodes.
Two shows I'll definately be waiting for:
Totally Spies--I love those 3 girls!;) :D
Justice League Unlimited--can't wait to see Supergirl and Zatanna again!;)
From what I recall of Zatanna's televised appearance, she had no real magic powers, unlike in the comics. I wonder if that will be the case this time around.
Personally, a visit from the Maid of Steel is always welcome. I'd like to know what she's been up to on the Kents' farm since we saw her last.
As with Wolf's Rain, it ain't going on general CN. It'll be on Toonami in March then move back to Kids' WB! in April.
Considering it was originally included with the package of "Case Closed", "Ghost in the Shell", "Animatrix" that was blazoned last month as going to Adult Swim, I find it hard to believe the show would end up on kids blocks.
Maybe this is a little off the subject, but did anybody see this month's Animation Magazine ad for a show, I think it was called "Defenders of Luna" or something like that? From the look of the ad, I would guess those quartet of young men turn into wolves, and are supposed to defend a female. Wowzers. If this wasn't ripped straight from "Wolf's Rain", at the very least, picking this time to bring out their show is likely going to get them dismissed by many as just a cheap copy, even if it doesn't actually prove to be the case.

Molly Star Racer isn't even finished.

Molly Star Racer isn't even finished. With due respect, as far as I know "Hamtaro" and "Inuyasha" haven't been finished to this day. Certainly "Detective Cona--excuse me--Case Closed" is still going. When "Digimon" first aired on American television, each season would begin in the fall when the show wasn't even halfway through that season in Japan yet. Just because a show isn't finished abroad, it doesn't stop an American outlet from picking its rights up right now.

OK, so I worded it a little wrong, you know what I mean. :P
As for Johto, is CN getting ALL of Johto, or just the Season 4 that Kids' WB! aired (End of Orange Islands to end of Johto Journies). The reason I ask is because any Johto Pokémon shots shown on CN are from Johto Journies, though it seems WB is finished for good with Johto League Champions. Advanced has been running on weekdays for about a month and a half for a while now. The only Master Quest episodes still being played are the ones that are digital.
