I've been researching the various toons by the various channels & companies. I've found connections between them, & am working on finding out more. To start with, we all know about the old Rough Draft crew --- Hartle, Spingarn, et al --- and how theywent from Pinky & the Brain sublimity to making a mockery of Johnny Bravo. We also know about Mike Milo working for both WB (P&tB) & CN (Ignoramooses, Swaroop). Here's more. Douglas McCarthy, TTA veteran, went from co-writing A Ditch In Time to co-storyboarding Sports-a-poppin' for Dexter's Lab. Speaking of, D'sL ep Sister's Got a Brand New Bag was co-storyboarded by Jeff DeGrandis, writer of the Great Wakkorotti segments. And yesterday while I was programming my vcr, Rocket Power just happened to be on. I noticed that ep was written by Roger Eschbacher, Ruegger's assistant for Histeria. I'll let y'all know of any others I find, & if anyone else knows of connections feel free to post here.

Frequently-caricatured WBA staffer Eddie Fitzgerald--the model for Lucky Bob, Pinky, Plucky's pop, and several one-shot incidentals in TTA and A! (look for the curly blonde hair and buck teeth)--wrote a script for a Two Stupid Dogs short....

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Stupids. Now that was the show that did for Cartoon Cartoons what TTA did for WBA. I didn't like until I gave it a shot, but now I can look past the drool & the toilet humor. It was where Mark Saraceni went after TTA & TazMania. And look @ all the talent that worked there: Huber, Tartakovsky, Feiss, Rudish, Renzetti, Alvarez, Thompson, Frederiksen,...

I'm back with more, & I'm not a little surprised that this hasn't been moved to the CC forum; eh. Anyway, remember Rumen Petkov, one of the directors for Dexter's Lab? Well, it seems he ahs a hand in Fox's Woody Woodpecker series. Also, I noticed that the storyboard artist for the Who is Supercow ep on yesterday's Cow & Chicken, & the director of Zoo Story from one of the Rugrats eps that aired yesterday had the same name, John Holmquist; I guess after the first season of C&C Rrs made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Well, that's it for now.

In between A! and Dexter, Jeff DeGrandis was the director on the highly underrated "Toonsylvania", which was co-created by Bill Kopp.

About Kopp: With equally underrated filmmaker Savage Steve Holland, he brought the world "Eek! the Cat". Later, he created Disney's "The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show" that about 10 people saw, me being one of them. Still later, he went on to create "Mad Jack the Pirate" for Fox.

Vince Waller has been all over; he started out writing "Ren & Stimpy", then when John K. got pinkslipped, he defected to H-B's "2 Stupid Dogs", where John K. also ended up (look for the tidbits of poor taste in the Red Riding Hood eps). He later wrote eps of "Spongebob Squarepants" and now, he and K are back together on "The Ripping Friends".

Also, I'm pretty sure that Craig McCracken started out on 2SD.

I've got a few more:

John R. Dilworth was a storyboard man on "Doug" before creating "Courage the Cowardly Dog".

Kati Rocky has written eps of "Eek! the Cat" and "The Angry Beavers", among others.

Ron Hauge toiled on "Ren & Stimpy" before working on "The Simpsons". (DYN: He also wrote for MAD Magazine.)
