TCM just aired "A Wild Hare" at 2:50PM(PST) as the Academy Award Nominee, Short Subject (Cartoon), 1940. The TCM logo was present, the audio was "out of phase" which means in sounded like it was processed through a "chorus" of "flange" effect. Horrible! The color was mediocre, my Digital capture of the Boomerang copy is far better. Run time was 8:05.

Good to see it though. :)

So this DID have the original title? There *is* a far more common blue ribbon print.

Was the version shown on TCM the one that had Carole Lombard's name as part of the "Guess Who" gag or was it replaced with "Barbra Stanwyck"? (the version I'm looking for is the original Carole Lombard version, but I already told Rodney I wanted it, but I do want to see if TV ever airs the original. That would be sweet)
