I knew this would happen if Fox moved it to 7. Stupid Oliver Beene! You missed some of Luanne's funniest quotes ever.

"Your hair is so sexy....it reminds me of..sex!"

"I can't drop out of this job! I already dropped out of college! If I drop out of the real world, I'll have no more worlds to drop out of!!"

Luanne is so funny. I know I'm the only one that thinks that....

No, you're not the only one who likes Luanne. She brings a special quality to the show that seems to cheer the mood up wherever she's at. I think this might be the first episode where she displayed actual mean-spirited selfishness, though, which justifiably surprised most of the cast.

Overall, I thought it was one of the better episodes this season, though I wonder what happened to Kahn's mother? Isn't she going out with Bill? I guess she's gone again. I remember Bill referred to her a few times previous this episode.

I'd also like to say that KOTH is getting really good at drawing "hot" women. Probably the best western animation out right now that has some actually good looking animated women. I think I started noticing this ever since this season's premiere with Boomhauer's old girlfriend (who was hot).

I didn't know Bill was smart enough to pull off acting gay. Seemed almost out of characters. :D

Sorry about the talkback this week. I wasn't home most of the day yesterday. I've missed episodes from the past few weeks. I'll have to start recording...

I've noticed that too. I think it's the animators' way of compensating for the dry, hyper-realistic drawing style of the show -- it obviously doesn't leave much room for flights of fancy or cartoony poses, but it does allow for drawing realistically curvaceous women, so they seem to play that for all it's worth. (There's a comment on the first season DVD that the animators make Peggy curvier every year.)

I taped this episode way back on Sunday, but only ended up watching it this afternoon. I really liked it! It was nice to see them develop Luanne a bit more and with Bill in tow, they made one um...interesting team. :) And now the barbershop has the former first chair cutters from Hottyz!

Based on her brief bit in tonight's 7:30 episode ("Apres Hank Le Deluge") Luanne appears to be semi-officially part of the Hill house again, which is fine with me as she had the best line of the night ("It's like God is taking our picture before he kills us").

Anyway, I thought this was a good episode, which might have been a great episode if it had delved a little more into Hank's dilemma instead of just using it as a plot device to turn the shelter against him. It was a good Bill episode, though, and I like Bill episodes. And at a time when other long-running comedy shows are struggling to get everyone back in character, it's cool that KotH is still so locked into its characters that it can get laughs (from me anyway) just by little in-character touches like Kahn and Minh trying to get the best "real estate" in the shelter.

BTW, both episodes tonight had French titles (the rerun was of "Ceci N'est Pas Une King of the Hill"). Hank would not approve.

Yeah, tonight's was one of the best. I guess they haven't done everything in KOTH like they have on Simpsons. My favorites are the ones where Hank is totally surrounded by idiots and there's nothing he can do about it. And Bill didn't apologize! It ended with nothing resolved--YAY for busting a cliche! Seriously, I liked that.

Luanne was great tonight as usual. Where did she go after her "picture" comment? I never saw her in the shelter...

Hated it, hated it, hated it. Treachery, betraying, & disloyalty to a friend does not fit the KOTH m.o.

Last night's ep was okay. I loved the Khan power struggle stuff and Bobby, Joseph and Connie taking their own pictures for the yearbook. Hank was funny as usual. I like how the floodwatch guy who left his post accused Hank: he points at him and says "None of this would've happened if I hadn't left my post!" Funny. Still this episode didn't have any big surprises or a twist ending (which is a King of the Hill mainstay) so I give it only *** out of *****.
