I just found out that George Gately, the creator of the fat orange cat Heathcliff, passed away recently at age 72. While I'm not much of a fan of Heathcliff (his second-segment serise appealed to me: The Catillac Cats), but there were a couple of things I liked about Heathcliff:
-Mel Blanc did the voice for him
-He reminded me of Garfield, although Heathcliff was more rough and tougher.
-Heathcliff was kinda like Bugs Bunny in a way.
Spoot. That's all I can think of. I wish CN would air this show, probably because I wanna see The Catillac Cats again (if only I had that magic mirror from Beauty and the Beast).
R.I.P. George Gately.
Oh, and I got the info here (http://www.yesterdayland.com/popopedia/show_boards/show_GetMessage.php?ID=350876&show_ID=SA1647)
