Anyone seen this anime? I rented it yesterday, I seen three episodes so far. It looks like a mix of Voltron with power rangers super sentai.

The original Gaogaiger TV series is very fun and entertaining. It's still a kiddie series, but there's some surprisingly dark angst and intrigue thrown in as the series progresses.

Don't know about the OAVs and other sequels.

I've seen the first 26 episodes, and it's freaking COOL! :eek:

It's an awesome Super Robot show, that's just BUBBLING yuusha. (Hero. Think Luffy, or Superman.)

It's a true hot-blood show, and definitely needs to be licensed.

I'd love to see how they would pull off a dub of it.

It moves a little slow, but it's cool. the tape I rented had a Bad image quality watchin the subs was kinda of hard.

There are plenty of slow moving series that have dubs.

...And I really can't see how this show is "slow".

There's a KICKASS Giant Robot fight in EVERY EPISODE.
(With LOUD SREAMING and Engrish attack names none the less!)

In the later episodes, there's a Ninja robot(Volfogg), two robot brothers (One with a flame gun, the other with an Ice gun.), a robot from America (Who speaks Engrish AND has a rock star form with songs that can heal allies and damage enemies!), and a robot who transforms into a weapon capable of destroying ANYTHING with one hit(And leaving a giant crater. o_o)

This show is anything BUT slow.

I only seen the first volume.(That's like 4 episodes.)

but after that spoiler, I'm gonna keep renting it. is 49 episodes long and I don't think the video store has the whole series. To come here it has to has something used for marketting(Like Gumdam.)
But anyway, I would like a dub of it.

Not really, and it was a spoiler. besides the quality of the type was horrible in the 2nd and 3rd ep. I will see if I can rent the remaining tapes.

It's a purposely over the top giant robot show. What's not to love? :P

Corny Dialogue, Awesome stock footage, Yamato cannons, shape changing bad guys, city in danger, transforming robots, animal robots, cyborg super hero, super hair powerups, bad engrish, scantily clad anime babe spouting bad engrish, giant robot rock star, ninja robots, giant transforming robots...you NEED to see this series to beleive it. :) And then love it.
