What's wrong with them making fruits snacks of a popular show? God knows that the Japanese and everyone else in the world do the same thing.

Nothing, but it's just kinda lame. I mean all the Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon foods are pretty much "versions" of other snacks, or just ripoffs of it. Just what I think...

Would you rather have some "Yu-Gi-Oh! BBQ Chips", or "Yu-Gi-Oh!" soda?! Or how about some "Kaiba Toilet Paper?!" Er, sorry... Still a bit weirded out by some of the other products I've heard of... Anyway, next time Mom goes shopping, I'm begging her for Yu-Gi-Oh Gushers... Or I could buy them myself...

It's not anime, but the Simpsons never lost their merchandising power in Europe, particularly the United Kingdom and Ireland.

For Instance? Instead of Honeycomb they have Bart Simpson's "Eat My Shorts". They're honeycomb shaped like shorts.

You think I'm joking, don't you.

I have the box right here.

i guess it goes to show you that like i've always figured

you can slap a yugio sticker on a iron rod and kids will buy it
which tends to go with most shows or things but
it's still more pertinant to yugio nowadays

it's kind of like the "Duelist Calculator" i saw at a gas station

i saw a kid with one so i figured i'd look at it (not that i play it)
thinking that it would be DIFFERENT from a regular calculator
possibly with a multiply by 1000 button on it or something

nope... a regular basic everyday run of the mill calculator
the type they give away free with wallets and keychains

the difference you ask? it had a lil yugio logo painted on it
"It's like calling it Gundam when basicly all it's just a giant robot anime" Takkun's Father

"So we're just going to sit around and let Char do whatever he wants?! That's it I'm going to the moon." (Amaro)

"when you talk about "their show" badly, "rabid fans" act like you've
found the holy grail of christ and melted it down
into a golden sword so you can stab the pope with it" Znath

Whaddyamean? They're just coffee and instant noodles!

That's exactly the point you originally made! They're just ripoffs or "versions" of other snacks. One is not better than another.

Isn't it amazing that a topic telling us about Yu-Gi-Oh! gushers could change into talking about how a product with a picture of a character from some kid's show on it isn't any better than the regular kind? Silly, isn't it? Anyway, I think people forget about the idea of, "If you don't like it, don't watch it." Or, "A product with a picture of a character from a kid's show on it isn't any better than the regular kind." People just forget simple logics like this because they're in the heat of the moment. Also, if anyone wants wants to put any part of this message in their sig, feel free. It'd probably do some good around here.

Don't remind me of that crap: I actually saw it on the shelf of my local supermarket yesterday.

Oh, and that cereal: it's just a triangular version of "Captain Crunch", so don't get your hopes up. (no I haven't eaten it, its just what it looks like on the box) All that I hope is that this stuff gets to the dollar stores soon, if not even there.

You know, some people take these crappy fads a bit too far in search for more money. (yeah, I needed to make that Spaceballs reference)
