Yugioh season one and the manga

Well I was able to find a synopsis for the first episode of Yugioh season one, you know where he played shadow games against criminals instead of duels, and found that he played a different game with Ushio the bully than in the first chapter of the manga. In the manga they play the game with the knife and yen bills and in the anime they play that card game while hanging from ropes.

Anyway, does anybody know what kind of games Yugi plays later in season one since I could only find a synopsis for the pilot? Are they like the ones in the manga?

I haven't seen too many episodes, but usually the games are the same as the ones from the manga, I think that episode one is one of the exceptions.
