    What stories from other media would you like to see turned into an Anime Film?

    I have been thinking about this since I saw the Star Wars Manga and recently the new Adult Swim rendition of Kikaider.

    I want the following:

    FILMS:

    Godzilla films
    Enter the Dragon
    Blade Runner
    The Star Wars saga
    The Matrix trilogy

    BOOKS:

    James Bond novels
    Lord of the Rings trilogy
    The Shining
    It

    T.V.:

    Star Trek (any series preferably the only ones that matter first and TNG)
    Greatest American Hero
    Battlestar Galatica
    Power Rangers

    VIDEO GAMES:

    Super Mario Bos.
    Metroid
    The Legend of Zelda
    Final Fantasy

    I'd absolutly love a Zelda anime. The only condition being it is strongly based on "The Ocarina of Time" saga.

    Kindom Hearts or a *cough* better Final Fantasy that is based on one of the games.

    Now to chose one that won't make most anime fans dig their own brains out with a dull spoon....

    Books
    Wing commander (based off a game I know but I'd like to see the books done. And no don't judge them by the movie. That just plain...painful.. the books are a whole lot better)
    wheel of time (might be interesting to see this one. Love the series so far)

    When I first saw Tenchi in love (the first movie) i had always wanted a Star wars anime that didn't diverge formthe original at all, thne the Manga came out, the first set was great but ep 5 and 6 left alot to be desired visually
