it was on Yu-gi-oh.
In the Match against Pandora(which they changed to Arkana) their legs were locked into place and a chainsaw blade would slice 'em off if their life points went to zero.
4kids changed it to Dark energy disks, and if it touched you you would lose your mind.
Stupid change.

They've already pulled that stunt with Anzu and Mai (I forget her Jap name...) So you'll bet they'll do it with BMG... I could understand editing for a Saturday morning T.V. show but they're are no plans of releasing and Uncut Yu Gi Oh! anytime soon; which has me more than pissed.

I'm sticking with the Japanese episodes myself...

I just saw Black Magician Girl (I'm in love...) and I noticed something on her outfit. All the pictures I see of her she has a star orb-thingy on her outfit but it wasn't on her today. Did 4KIDS edit it out?

Actually they replaced the "star orb-thingy" (which has a star inside a circle which is a sign of Satan I might add) with a plain oversized red orb. they also put little bike shorts on her when she was introduced (when they cut to the bottom of her outfit. In the original it was all bare skin)

also, it looked like those "Nightmare Chains" or whatever they were called that the Dark Magican was bound to, was originally a crucifix, but they changed it to a diamond thing. They let the card alone though when they showed it, that's the only reason I thought it was an edit.

Normally it wouldn't be, and in the past this thread would have been shot on site. When has bashing of anything ever been acceptable? But keep the discussions/debates about 4kids clean and reasoned, and there shouldn't be a problem.

Oh, and the reasons why certian things are edited and others are not is simple. Yu-Gi-Ho was edited for Saturday Morning cartoons, which caters to a completely different audience than that on Cable. Saturday Morning Cartoons in the eyes of the networks are meant for Teens on down, and Toonami is Teens on up. Salior Moon had a little more freedom to it since the large part of its targeted Demographics were teenager on up. Yu-Gi-Ho is specifically targeted for kids.

I'm not saying it's a great idea, but it's the one we got.
