New Anime Releases: Jan 21st, 2003.

    Like This Thread!
I figured I'd try and do my part to provide a service to you folks here on the anime board...as a Mod, I want to do my best for all of you. So here it is, the start of what I hope will at least be some help to you all....the new anime releases(DVD and VHS) for this week.

    January 21st. 2003.

Banner of the Stars Volume 1: No Turning Back.
A continuation of the popular series Crest of the Stars, by the novelist Hiroyuki Morioka.

Burn-Up Excess Volume 4: The Case of the Black Diamonds.
Volume 4 of the popular series about an all female task force, who take on the worst of the worst jobs in town. Heavy on the fanservice, and fair on plot.

    Dangaizer 3 Volume 2.
Second volume in the well designed, and comically refreshing mecha series by the always popular Masami Obari(Megazone 23, Virus, etc. ).

Fruits Basket Volume 2: What Becomes of Snow?
Something for the otaku who needs a break from action, and a love for the romantics.

    Hellsing Volume 4: Eternal Damnation.
The continued story of vampires, and the people who hunt them. Highly stylized, and concidered the "next Cowboy Bebop" by many....be on the look out for an exclusive copy of Volume 4 which comes with a limited edition Seras action figure! gotta love special add ons...

    Medabots Volume 7.
This isn't pokemon. The continued adventures of Ikki and Metabee progress in the 7th volume of this popular ABC Family series.

MegaMan 3-disk Set: A Hero is Born.
If you love Megaman, then there's a good chance you'll love this. A complete 1st season, 13 episode, on DVD-ONLY, 3-disk set of the Megaman series. And all for $29.98. Now THAT is a deal.

Ronin Warriors Volume 10: The Fate of Evil.
The continued saga of the classic anime of 5 men, and their warrior paths. As good as Action anime got back in the 80's.

Star Blazers: The Bolar Wars Series 3.
Part 1 of the third chapter in the Star Blazers saga. The stakes get a little higher this time with two empires, and universal conquest as the goal.

    Vandread Second Stage Volume 3.
The battle against the alien forces continues, as the Nirvana has nearly reached it's home.

    Yu Yu Hakusho Volume 9:
Our favorite spirit detectives continue their struggle in the Dark Tournament. It's a fight to the finish, which might just finish them all off!

    Yu Yu Hakusho Volume 10:
With round 1 behind them, Yusuke tries to motivate the troops, and get the ready for what might be thrown at them next, as the Dark Tournament continues. Round 2!

    ^_^

My tremendous intuitive sense of the female creature informs me that you are troubled...

I thought it declined quickly after the first season. Too many mindless fist fights and tournaments. And yes, I've seen the whole show before in Cantonese.

    I'd debate that.

But anyway... I WOULD be picking up the new YYH discs... if I had the money... and if I had been able to find Rescue Yukina and Dark Tournament anywhere... >_>; Stupid Media Play...

    ...

    Well, I DID find them at Wal-Mart... ...edited... *sigh* Even I'm not that desperate. o_O;

I've had an order on the new YYH for some time, but it hasn't arrived yet. I just ordered the new Excel and Hellsing as well. And, of course, new Inuyasha is on its way as well.
