Clearly one can tell the popularity of a work when only one person discusses it and he is only doing it to tell everyone else to stay away.

Really can't believe what I had to just clean up here. Stay on topic, don't level insults, do not encourage insults. These are the basics of good conversation here guys. Follow them.
I would suggest that it's not the medium, but the quality of perception and expression, that determines the significance of art. But what would a cartoonist know? -Bill Watterson

Kei dug up a listing for what might very well be another opening for Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters. Ono Masatoshi will perform it, just as he did the first opening.

This thing grows weirder by the day.

    Episode #115

    Dragon Ball Chapters covered: #458 5.5-7.5 and #459 1-6
Dragon Ball Z Episodes covered: Episode #230, bits of #231, and #232.

The music placement was hideous as usual. Far too much music and even a few unfitting pieces, promoting too much of a sense of cheerfulness when it was unnecessary.

Obviously nobody seems to give a damn about this series anymore, but here is an interesting turn of events: the Fuji TV cut has re-synched with the international airing Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters. In fact, the French broadcast has caught up and now forced a simulcast airing of their dub one day after the Japanese airing. The Fuji TV airing is no longer condensing episodes for a reduced episode count. At this point the Fuji TV cut is looking to be sixty-two episodes long, rather than The Final Chapters' sixty-nine.

Originally the Blu-ray boxes seemed to indicate that the Fuji TV cut would be four cours, ending at forty-six episodes. If the Majin Buu arc of Dragon Ball Kai continues instead for sixty-two episodes that would bump it up to five cours, taking us through the Spring 2015 season. The 2015 Dragon Ball Z film is set for release during Golden Week 2015, which would mean late April or early May. My guess is the movie will be released on 02 May 2015. May is in the spring season of Japanese broadcasting.

Near as I can tell, Dragon Ball Kai--which was already on life support--has won another round of life support by virtue of being a cheap and already on-hand half-hour commercial for the franchise's upcoming film now being directed by a guy with no prior directing experience.

    Yup.
