I guess the news came to TZ a bit late since it came on April Fools Day. However, Netflix actually began uploading some of the series, such as Inuyasha and Hikaru no Go, back in March.

This is the talkback thread for PR: VIZ Media and Netflix Partner to Offer Naruto, Inuyasha and Bleach Starting April.
Pretty cool announcement from VIZ.

College football, basketball, the NFL, the NBA, and MLB. I may not be an expert, but these sports always keep me fascinated if the game is good!

Beware The Almighty Hammer Gun!
I was interested until i realized the inuyasha stream was SUB only.
I wonder if its popular, they'll add the dub too
A Netflix stream that's sub-only? That's unusual for Netflix. They probably should have gone with dubs particularly because Naruto Shippuden's uncut dub is only available on DVD and iTunes though Shippuden isn't among the first batch anyway.

Maybe someone else has the dub rights to the stream?

That could be the reason why they don't have dubbed Naruto on Hulu. CN had the Naruto dubbed stream rights and now Disney XD has the Shippuden. I wasn't sure if the edited dub stream rights differed in ownership from the uncut ones though. I would think they would. I also would think that contracts would allow for the uncut dub to stream on Netflix even with the edited dub streaming on Disney XD's site because there are several instances of multiple venues getting the streaming rights to the same show in the same format. Including DBZ Kai streaming two different versions, one on Toonzai.com and one on Nicktoons.com just as it broadcasts on both. The contract might be different though and it would not surprise me at all if Disney's contract gives them exclusive streaming rights to dubbed Naruto Shippuden.
In the case of other shows however, they should be able to stream those dubbed because nobody else has the dub streaming rights to InuYasha, Bleach, Hikaru No Go, Honey & Clover, Nana, etc.
