OH SNAAAP! Big thanks man for posting that here and on Twitter. Still definitely wanna see Shishio at different angles. In terms of his burns, it looks vaguely like Freddy Krueger's in the Nightmare on Elm Street remake.

Bigger thing is the shots of the Aoshi and Cho fights plus more Hitokiri Battousai flashbacks. Now I'm getting excited.

For a minute there I thought the trailer was just reused footage from the first. Nothing really sticks out until the last shot with Shishio. I wonder if their final fight in the third movie is going to take place at Mount Hiei? I'd hate for them to keep using these non-descript locations.

Kurosaki Kaoru revealed that her husband's new project will be a new comic about the villains of Kenshin. Getting to see more of Yumi and Shishio being awesome together would be great.

Well backstory could be interesting, but there's also the matter of just what became of characters like Sojiro and Enishi after we saw them last. There's a lot of possibility with this one!

Hmm, interesting. Kenshin had some pretty cool villains, so I'm not against this. I do think that Watsuki is borderline milking the franchise. Not yet, but announce another spin-off.

A new trailer appears. It would appear Kenshin's departure shall take place during the daytime in this live action movie.

Watsuki is once again putting a comic on hold to write a new Rurouni Kenshin comic. Aku no Kioku will tell the story of Shishio Makoto, it appears.

I've always thought doing a story from Shishio's point of view would be interesting, especially if it told what he would have done had he defeated Kenshin and gone on to rule Japan.

Makoto is one of the coolest Shonen Jump villains ever, I hope Viz gets this like they did Restoration.

A longer & subbed trailer for the live-action Kyoto movie(s). Looks to be just as true to the essence of the original story as the first movie (with its share of storyline changes also, of course - is that Kanryu?!). Can't wait.

Looks like the big climax might take place on Shishio's battleship in this take (note the Sojiro fight at 1:22). Interesting. Also check out the end at 1:34...four attacking at once! Isn't that too logical for a shonen adaptation?!
