Ah leave it to LK to put things all in perspective.

But I'll just say now that Kaiser's image made me remember that Taka's relationship with penguins wasn't just relegated to YGO:TAS. He was one a long time ago.

I've enjoyed making these Naruto videos way too much for my own good. It's been my attempt to highlight some of the more ridiculous aspects of the so-called "Abridged Community".

Having said that, I reckon I only have one more in me - and it'll be aimed more at myself than anything else - so I both thank and apologise to all of you for watching them.

LK, all joking aside here -

I want to make a public statement that I hold no ill-will towards LittleKuriboh for these videos/his wisecracks towards me or my friends. I'm sure he's not trying to be malicious or hurtful with them, and I actually appreciate the bit of influx of attention his videos have given me (other than the odd fan who's calling me names for challenging him). We're not super close friends or anything, but I'm well aware that he has a good sense of humor, and understands this is all in good fun.

Sorry to be all serious, but I've gotten a couple concerned/serious people asking if there's something going on. I can't speak for LK (though I'm fairly certain he's not ACTUALLY angry at me or something), but I can say that this has just been a fun little distraction for me, and I've enjoyed it quite a bit. Hope the same can be said of everyone involved. If not, sorry if I hurt your feelings, but everyone needs to learn to laugh at themselves once in a while.

    /endserioustalkbacktothefunny

All that said, everything you've ever made is awful. And I'm saying that to everyone on these boards, including myself. We're all terrible, and we should be ashamed of having fans in the first place.

    LK > lame internet drama

"You always seemed so happy!" "Yeah, I put on a good front." Heh heh. This was the best one. Priceless. Something good actually came out of that silly drama. I also liked Iruka's mood shifts as a take-that to viewers that are critical of parodies and/or abridgers and yet watch faithfully. Beyond that, the meta message that people just shouldn't take things so seriously is dead on and satisfying to hear. And it was funny! I approve.

Whatever happened to that crystal ball in Naruto anyway? Fans who probably care too much Inquiring minds want to know, Kishimoto.....

On a completely different note, word is that AMV Hell 5 will find its way online sometime soon (it premiered at Anime Weekend Atlanta a week ago). I saw the third one some time ago and I have positive memories of it being good for quite a few chuckles, so I recommend that. For any who don't know, the format is basically a collection of one-shot jokes or short parodies featuring many different anime brought together in a single video.

I also want to see all of Escaflowne abridged. I really mean it this time, I'm going to finally sit down and marathon the rest of it! Probably.
I would suggest that it's not the medium, but the quality of perception and expression, that determines the significance of art. But what would a cartoonist know? -Bill Watterson

Yeah, that crystal ball...the look of the Naruto world changes a lot after those first couple of volumes. I guess the all-seeing ball had to go, too.

But nonetheless, that was quite a hilarious show LK.

I don't even know why you guys are fighting so seriously on THE INTERNET. Just forgive and forget already..

On a happy note, LK's new video made me laugh without having to know what the fight was really about until I read. >__>

I think Kaiser has a right to defend his friend, even if it's on another forum.

On the other hand, the more the drama continues, the more hilarity is forth coming. The way I see it, if there are two scantily clad women fighting, the best course of action is not to try and break them up, but to steer them towards a mud pit. If a mud pit is not forthcoming, throw a couple gallons of chocolate pudding on them and then just sit back and watch the hilarity whilst they grapple and claw at each other ineffectually.

You might even see a nipple or two, you never know.

So basically, you're asking me to do a video where Iruka and the Hokage mud wrestle.

Actually, it's one of the rules of the Bro Code (seriously, not making that up):

And while I agree that the hatchet has been buried so we shouldn't continue to be so serious about this ridiculousness, I'm all for the continuation of said ridiculousness. Cause it makes me laugh. And it should make you guys laugh too. Seriously, quit taking things so seriously.

I was honestly kind of surprised with that video-- I was sort of expecting LK to give me some (good-natured) crap about the whole thing. Oh well. "I put on a good face." That line killed.
