    What Trigun to buy?

    Like This Thread!
Hi everybody, I am a big cowboy bebop fan and was told that I needed to look into buying some of the Trigun DVD's. The entire series costs almost $200. So I was curious as to which sets to buy, which are the best or which Triun movies I should buy? Thanks for the assist.

There's no movies, just 26 episodes. The episodes are mis-labeled on the first 2 DVD's, though.

If you go here and search "Trigun", you'll find the DVD box set for $140, but it's back-ordered.

It's not like BeBop, though. It more of a comedy series than anything else. It starts off pure comedy then gets pretty emotional near the end. Great series, but you don't have to be a Bebop fan to realize it.

Start in the beginning and finish in the end. There is more continuity in Trigun than Bebop (although not too much at first).

    Trigun Videos/DVDs in order:

    1) The $$600,000,000,000 Man
    2) Lost Past
    3) Wolfwood
    4) Gung-Ho Guns
    5) Angel Arm
    6) Project Seeds
    7) Puppet Master
    8) High Noon

Note that it costs $240 to buy the entire series as individual DVDs at retail ($192 on sale), while the box set costs $200, or $140 on sale.

The Bebop box set is a ripoff, though. You can get the entire series for $20 less than the box set costs.

In all fairness, that's one of the nicest boxes I've ever seen.

Don't you get the first soundtrack as well?

Yup. But the best songs on it are Tank! and The Real Folk Blues. Both of which I was sick of by the time I'd watched all the eps.

I think this thread goes in Anitainment, though.
