*Eye twitches at Gundam 00 delay*

Really Bandai? You're gonna keep these delays up after tacking on some space between seasons already?

Hmm sub only... well it's not like the dub was much worth buying I guess.

Nothing for me, as is usually the case with Bandai for me these days.

Anyone know if the Gundam trilogy will have the English dub? (It was skipped for whatever reason for the DVD release, but it was available on VHS.)

Maybe they're trying to space out the profits they make from those two shows. They've consistently delayed every release, though the margin has varied.

Frustratingly, this delay comes barely a week before Gundam and Geass were due to be out.

Well...I sort of bought that five-movie set you put out like...six years ago, Bandai...so...I guess I don't need to buy the trilogy again...but...that stupid case is somewhat broken, so...I'd accept a new one...maybe?

This is...what, the third DVD release of these films in the past ten years? Yeesh.

At this point, I wouldn't expect the early dub of the MSG Trilogy on R1 DVD. Certainly not anytime soon. It's really good and definitely the cheapest way to own MSG, so go for it if you don't have it.

But hey, don't hate too much. The original dub had British Bright.

I won't say that I'm getting sick and tired of these delays, since I am already there. It's been a year of this now. I can only hope that my Rightstuf preorder will see my Gundam shipped to me well ahead of schedule, which has happened before.

I actually found a VHS copy of the dub of Encounters in Space. Not the prettiest sight.

If we're lucky this release might actually have some form of extras but...I am not going to hold my breath. Something nice from the actors or Tomino would be nice, but alas...fate can be a cruel mistress...

Personally, I'd like to know WHY we have these delays. If it's frigging Battle Spirits licensing war like the rumours say, I will not be happy.

-sigh- I was REALLY hoping Code Geass wouldn't be delayed for once, but yet again, I've got to wait.

Three releases in 10 years is nothing considering School Rumble and DBZ have had more than three releases in the last three years. Not to mention the first two releases have long, long, LONG been out of print. And it wasn't released during the initial Anime Legends Gundam push like Zeta, CCA, and the various OYW sidestories were.

As for extras, this release will likely be another re-issuing of the original discs, meaning we'll get jack.

Now if only we can get the original series in a re-release. Even dub-only, it's better than nothing.

I'd probably buy it. Asside from some emotional moments turning out hillariously bad it's a decent dub and an enjoyable watch. Real shame Bandai is so lame with rereleases. It's always the same discs. As if they just had them in a warehouse somewhere and decided to make a new box to stuff them all in. Actually... yeah I'm SURE that's how it is. Someone goes to the warehouse and finds a show they haven't released in a while and out comes another boxset out of the blue. But at least it's cheaper than buying them seperatedly would have been by a sizable margin.

That actually the issue I was making. At least with Dragon Ball Z it's not the exact same encode or film master on each release.

I sense you're being sarcastic but...yes, near completely, that's how they've been doing it.

Seriously? They're releasing the MSG trilogy... Sub-only when a dub exists? Much less, a dub with Steve Blum as Char?

Bandai, seriously, just release the original series in a Bandai Brick WITH the dub. Thanks much.
