I have never been so angry!

    Like This Thread!
I just saw a commercial for Dairy Queen featuring new Digimon toys. This was so impressive, I felt like going out to one of those places sometime. However, it appears the worst always hits me. There is no DQ on Long Island. Sure, there are some Upstate and a couple in New Jersey, but I can't go out that far!

You want to know how nice they are? Here are a couple of pictures of them:

I don't think you should suggest forgeting about it (that's waaay too degrading) or eBay (I don't have the permission or privelages to purchase anything via the Internet).

BTW, sorry if I was rude.
I think Scooby-Doo is knida over-rated and all of the HB Dogs should be praised.
Wouldn't it be great if their could be more Peanuts specials on DVD?

Do you know anybody who lives outside the state, relatives or friends? If so, they could go buy them and mail them to you I just saw this ad for the first time today. Looked neat.

My apologies if this option isn't an option as well.

Aww, man, I see why you're upset - those look really nice. Patamon looks cute.

Elven Moon's got a good idea ... is it possible for you to do that?

Well, I have a sister in college which has a DQ in the same city. Maybe it'll work, if she allows or takes it seriously and I can handle what I have do in return.

I just contacted Mary via AIM. She says she'll see what she can do. BTW, this is the away message I put up to inform her about it:

I have seen these commercials for Digimon toys at Dairy Queen. They look really neat and worth a lot while priced right, but there's no DQ on Long Island.

However, some people suggested I contact a friend or relative who lives in a city that DOES have one and ask them if they can get it. Oh, Mary...we'll talk. You don't have to, but it's a nice deed.

    Sorry if I offended you.
Nice, huh? Pete, one of Mary's classmates and friends at college who thinks I'm cool, found it amusing.

    E-Mail them

Why don't you just go to Dairy Queen's website and E-Mail them?

    http://www.dairyqueen.com/

They should be able to tell you all the options (through Dairy Queen, anyway) that you can use to obtain these mini stuffed animals.

Dairy Queen could also tell you the name of the manufacturer of these mini stuffed animals. Then you can E-Mail them. I'm sure the manufacturers would be happy to mail you a complete set of these toys, for the cost they sold them to Dairy Queen for (plus shipping and handling, of course).

I'm a big Transformers (Generation 1, 1984-1987) collector, and I've bought collectibles from this toy store before, so I know they're good and trustworthy. They sell lots of other collectibles besides Transformers; in fact, they have an entire section devoted to Digimon!

    http://www.hobbyvalley.com/

You don't have to use your credit card over the Internet to buy from Hobby Valley. They take checks and money orders over snail mail!

You could also go to the official website of Digimon, and E-Mail them too:

    http://www.foxkids.com/tvshows/digimon/

Having your sister get them for you is a good option. So is eBay. (What's so hard about signing up and using eBay?) You could also look in your phone book for collectibles shops -- old toys, comic book stores, etc. -- and see if any of them have some available.

(Random note: I don't like Pokemon or Digimon, and to be honest, I usually can't tell the difference between one or the other!)
Favorites! (1) Action: Transformers & G.I. Joe; Visionairies; The DCAU; Robotech, DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo & Trigun; TMNT, MOTU; and Avengers: EMH; (2) Comedy: The Simpsons & Futurama, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast & The Brak Show, Sealab 2021, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, ATHF, The Boondocks, The Venture Bros., and Archer

    To Squall:

That is all good advice. However, I don't think DQ's HQ would or could send toys directly to anyone who asks. Asking for the manufacturer could work, but what if the corporation is too big? Also, I visited Hobby Valley, but all it is is some page saying the date and time, my name is some robot name and "I am still alive, Thanks" over and over. There is a graphic that is also a link, but it does no good, as I need a password to go through it.

Also, I'm am not sure if FoxKids.com has any merchendise for any of it's shows, like Digimon, Power Rangers, or even Alienators action figures from Bandai. Also, eBay could be a little rocky, as most of the orders have "PayPal", which I do not have permission to sign up for.

Ordering online is hard, especially if you are 14, are ten years away from a credit card, and permission from parents is as valueable as gold and diamonds, if not more.

    EDIT:

I also have other worries of payment when it comes to snail mail. The only $$$ source I have is ca$h, but I never get paid and sending it via mail is unsafe. I also can't get permission to use checks or make Western Union or MoneyGram money orders.

Gee, I wish we could be of more help! I hope your sister is able to get these for you!

Well, you can't do online ordering, you can't send cash in the mail, you can't get money orders or cashiers checks...what did you expect me to say?
