I mean, I've got the PS3 so that's no problem but still, I can't enjoy it without the HDTV. Well, I'll just keep getting DVD's for now.

It's great to hear that it will continue for 99 episodes to cover all the material. However, since Funi has confirmed they have it, I'm done watching it until their Blu-rays are released.

Goku's hiding it behind him, he was being arrogant in that scene thinking he wouldnt need it to beat Freeza, good thing he came to his senses though. But seriously, if they were going to put such little effort they shouldnt have redrawn it at all.

The entire episode is a bit ugly, but nothing like that. Now you see how much money is being put into this versus...say, a fully newly animated series.

Anyhow, I sure hope we get some sort of promotional poster for the next arc. I'd hate to not have a picture to go with the next talkback I create...

It's really just one more reason to buy the Blu-rays instead of the DVDs.

"It's a 20-Fold Kaio-ken! A Kamehameha With Everything on the Line" leads me to believe episode #44 will only cover Dragon Ball Z episode #89 with some of #90. If such is true, I suspect #45 will cover #90 (or what was not covered in the previous episode) and #91, so that it might end with the Twenty-Times Kaiô-ken. Which means the Ginyû filler...might cover two episodes...or three!!
This week, on Dragon Ball Kai: Son Gokû and Freeza continued their heated duel. Meanwhile, Commander Ginyû of the Ginyû Tokusentai--who had become a harmless frog--befriends Bulma. The last nameless Dr. Brief heiress, however, so regrets giving her new friend the ability to speak as they switch bodies...!!
This episode was actually pretty quick for having a bit of filler retained. The music was pretty good in the second, too. Next week we get Twenty-Times Kaiô-ken so I have to wonder if that will be the end of the first half...hopefully they'll cover #92 too. Will we also get the end of the Ginyû-Bulma filler, too.

Man, how many more episodes until Goku becomes a Super Saiyan? It feels like this is dragging, I almost feel like I'm watching DBZ.
