SEED Destiny's re-animation stockage was more due to Fukuda not planning a sequel at all, and his wife getting cancer. You can't animate without a script.

I wonder, is it possible the break might have helped with animation? Lord knows SEED Destiny overdosed on reused animation, whereas I had trouble finding it in 00. Only one I can recall off the top of my head is Sevaree's rifles getting slashed, they reused that a few times.

I recall them reusing the animation of Seravee launching quite a few times, but that's inconsequential. They did a stellar job on the animation, so no complaints from me. Having that midway break might have helped, and the proof, as they say, is in the pudding; S2 was far better animated than S1, and S1 wasn't even bad!

You know, looking at the facts, I think we all just want to believe that Wing Zero can beat 00 when it very clearly can't in any way. I mean, yeah it would stand a very good chance but....I mean, come on, the thing can freaking quantam jump AND make a BFS.

But as long as we all agree that Domon and Master Asia pwn all (Except Loran and his darn haxx Moonlight Butterfly) then we're good.

Canonically, probably never...however, there's always a chance that Super Robot Wars will get around to giving at least one amusing yet plausible answer to that question (even if I'm under the impression that Wing's cast isn't used that much lately, at least in the main games after a rather long and redundant run, but this doesn't mean it couldn't be brought back for whatever reason ).

To make that a more general statement, it will be interesting to see how GN technology as a whole and all its different applications (the relevant ones for SRW purposes at least) will be portrayed in those games. All in good fun, of course.

Honestly, am I the only one that think Kyrios and its upgrade are the most useless Gundams of the series? It's nothing special besides tranforming (which has done jack for the most part)

The only possible benefit would be in a S2 timeline where it comes with Archer for a 2-for-1 unit.

It was kinda useful in S1 when the only really powerful unit was Virtue.

But S2, it's completely useless compared to the upgrades other units received.

I was willing to give it Kyrios the benefit of the doubt that it was perhaps faster and more agile than the others... at first. But it did little to convince me that it had superior performance in those reguards. (Except maybe in terms of speed when it was in MA mode.) Both it and Arios needed more firepower for sure.. I liked when the Arios was using two Gn Twin Beam Rifles for one episode, and of course the more powerfull rifle and missle pods towards the last episodes. Arios does have the GN Beam Shield, but we never saw it applied other than claw mode. (If it even has applications beyond that.. which its model kits imply that it does.)

Oh jeez, I just realize to make Exia worthwhile they need to give it barrier-cut, and therefore every enemy has barrier (like the freakin Zoids enemy in SRW K. GAWD)

The idea seems played for laughs, so they probably won't do it. That would be weird as hell, though.

Haha. I'd agree with that. The show's over but it's not the end of the journey for the characters or for humanity, there's still more to tell. So good, they're thinking about it the right way...more hope for the movie then.

i dont know just speculation, i mean we have humans in space, the universe is expanding and im sure the idea of life on other planets or other types of organic intelligence could definitly exsist in the gundam universe?

It's the same reason we're getting the HGs re-released with the finale add on weapons- a cheap way to reuse existing, popular molds with a minimum of work.

Anyway, a basic round up of 00 kit news from the show-

MG: Exia, as hinted after episode 50. Will come in 2 forms- a regular version and an 'Ignition Version'. Ignition Ver has extra gimmicks like option parts for Exia Repair (except seemingly the broken blade, so it'd seem this is intended as a headstart on a full on mod project), LED for the GN Drive and coating on the blade parts. It'll also have a first batch only 1500 yen discount on the retail price.

1/100: Cherudim, Arios and Seravee in Designer's Colours. Fun.

HG 1/144: Cherudim, Arios and Seravee will be re-released with their add ons from the finale. A kick in the pants to completists like me.

Most of the stuff we've already seen but a happy announcement for me- HG Gaddess! This will be coming in August.

BB Senshi- SD versions of Exia R2 and 0 Gundam. 0 Gundam has effect parts for the drive and R2 seems to be able to convert the extra parts into a tacky looking fighter craft.
