    Wow, that image is long. You probably want to spoiler tag that for size, Funk. I am highly amused by Alejandro and Ribbons at the end.

    Edit: Anew being introduced to the Dylandy family... *sniff*

    On the ridiculous lack of non-U.S. support for streaming 00: well, this might be some hopeful news that they're eventually going to get it together.

    -Wow, that one with Anew is going to make HC cry a lot.
    -I love how the two red-haired Innovators (er, Innovade's now right?) are just kind of on the side like "Why are we even here?"
    -Heh, Nena and Wang pulling each other's hair out.

    I like how there are a bunch of Brings and Devines scattered around the photo. Also, why is Tieria naked? Maybe he got too excited when he saw Neil?

    Well that, of course, and probably because they're representing him still inside of Veda, where he's been depicted floating around naked

    Um... I guess this where I should post this interesting discovery I've made?

    Well, for all the Australian fans reading this, I got good stuff - I talked to some of the hot-shots in Madman at Supanova Brisbane, and... serious talks are currently underway for the distribution rights to Gundam 00 in Australia! It's still in the early stages, when things are able to fall through, so they aren't going to be making any announcements yet, but yeah, they seriously want it. If things go well, they're hoping to bring it out sometime this year. if slowly, then the next.

    Still collecting thoughts on things overall and I have been busy, but I have a question to throw out there since I've been lax in following the off-screen backstory. This has been brought up in passing before and it's apparently said somewhere that CB influenced the creation of the three-way Union/HRL/AEU power bloc that existed in season one, as well as the Solar Wars. What's the source for that, what are the details, and who stated this--i.e. was it a character or an omniscent narrator?

    I'm particularly interested in whether it's basically all Veda's doing or if there were people deliberately plotting all this throughout the years all of the way. My guess is that this comes from Gundam 00P, but I'm in the middle of a few things and can't look it up right now.

    I believe it comes from the reference books. Basically, CB instigated an energy crisis which led to the Solar Wars and more importantly the formation of the three power blocks, which was the desired result. Beyond that, the key thing was to move humanity away from the idea of nuclear power/nuclear weapons.

    Amazon is saying the US release has been pushed back to June 16th. I got an e-mail to notify me about my order.

    Confirmed on Rightstuf. Blast. I guess it's not shocking; this happened to Gurren Lagann's third set and Freedom, which could well be BEI's 2nd best show released this year behind 00, was pushed back a whole three months.

    It seems hard to order new BEI manga online too...at this rate I hope they still end up publishing the 00 novels.

    Fingers crossed all round. They've been tightening up their act like FUNi, they deserve to succeed.

    Oh and Amazon reviewers? Stop telling me I'm not a 'true fan' if I like the series you personally hate. I'll take my sombrero Gundams, Trans-Am Bursts and Zako Soldiers with enjoyment. Start watching these shows for enjoyment, not to claim superiority over others.

    Heh. Here are two Amazon comments in a nutshell. "Hey, this isn't for UC fans (Trying new things is bad!). It's pretty boy fluff!"
    "Hey, this was trying to revive Gundam Wing and season one's ending sucked!"

    Oh good, for a brief moment I was back in 2002 again.

    Other people, on the other hand, are caught up with the times. It's always telling that early negative "reviewers" are never rated well by actual customers.

    On a review I did a few years back for SEED volume 2, I got a comment telling me I wasn't a true fan if I didn't like SEED. Which is amusing for a few reasons, including the fact the review was objective- I praised it giving some depth to the Coordinators but complained it over used Lacus' song and spent far too long getting to Earth. But I guess most folks prefer things to be black and white.
    I was very glad when I was asked if I'd do reviews for TZ instead. At least here your review isn't thrown into a pit if it gets fanboys all moody.

    I'm actually suprised at all the 00 hate suddenly. Especially from trolls who hate it for superficial reasons.

    What I'm more curious of is when will 00 start eliciting the statements "You're not a true fan of Gundam if you don't like 00."

    The major difference being that 00 objectively is a higher quality show than the other shows that get that distinction, ergo there's more reason TO like than NOT like it. I.E. "Don't like 00? You don't appreciate good storytelling."

    -Dude, this is just Wing
    -Boys are too pretty
    -Gundams are too stupid looking
    -Kira can beats these posers blind-folded (seriously, the Other forum was filled with "What if Kira was there?"
    -Pacing
    -LOL Lelouch>themz
    -Screw Gundam, Zero No Tsukima FOREVER!
    Hit list:
    Lose =/= Loose
    Canon =/= Cannon
