Not necessarily, as his Death Note role was actually a major breakout from his old Gundam roles (among others). Not much is heard in the trailer, but Setsuna's voice sounds pretty unique to me compared to what he's done before.

He does one of those once in a blue moon. And WoW isn't connected to CN, anyways. It was just a joke anyways, but it would be awesome if SciFi picked up Cullen.

From what I've seen of Brad Swaile, all his voices sound the same. :P

Brad Swaille was the voice of Quatre in Gundam Wing. Did that sound like Light to you?

It sounded like Amuro...who sounds like Setsuna. Maybe that's his Gundam voice?

I really don't think they're that similar, but seeing the episode tonight will make it MUCH easier to tell.

It did, actually. I was watching the first episode of Wing, and I heard it offscreen and I was like "WTF, Light?"

Never mind... I was thinking of someone else. I haven't seen much of Gundam Wing. I apologize.

You were probably thinking of Dearka from SEED. He really sounded like the same person there. (He was Auel in Destiny too.)

I was thinking of the guy from Zech's ship from Episode 1 of Gundam Wing.

My Wing boxset needs to come sooner. >_>

Huh...too bad this conflicts with Monday Night Football, otherwise I would watch it. Sci-Fi should've picked a better night for a late-night anime block.

I suggest recording 00, then. It's really worth getting into.

Well, I don't have a DVR, but I'll probably try the DVDs if the general response in this thread is positive.

Then use a tape via VCR. Seriously, this show should not be missed.

At last, the wait is soon over! I can't wait for the series to start! :anime:

Darn it! Lost is still playing. Only an hour and ten minutes to go.
It's sad that in the end, so much evil is done all in the name of 'Everyone Else is Doing It'.

Wow, such strong reactions. I doubt I could get the TV away from my roommate even if I wanted to, but I guess I'll try and watch the show through other sources tomorrow.

Good luck, Bandai and Sci Fi

I saw the trailer at SDCC and it looked pretty good. I've only liked one Gundam series (0083) but with this being Bandai's next choice after the excellent Gurren Lagann, I'm very excited to see if it can deliver.

One hour of Gundam ... when's the last time Cartoon Network did that?
