Episode Description: Jesse, exhausted with his duel with Zane returns to Yubel's castle. However, Adrian has been waiting & challenges Jesse to a duel to prove he's king.

Jaden Yuki (Judai Yuki): He's the hero of our story who resides in the Slifer Red Dorm. As a mysterious force started taking over the school, Jaden's group investigated. After saving the school and meeting with a face from his past, Jaden felt responsible and decided to go back to save Jesse. However, his guilt took over upon seeing the death of his closest friends and he lost himself to the darkness. He has now been saved by the help of his friends & his main goal now is rescuing Jesse & stopping Yubel.

Syrus Truesdale (Sho Marufuji): Syrus had always been a loyal friend of Jaden, even thinking of him as a big brother. But as Jaden began fighting for only his goals, Syrus decided he didn't like his new persona and left him. After having a chat with his older brother, Syrus took to the sidelines watching Jaden's destiny.

Velian Crowler(Chronos de Medici): A teacher of Duel Academia with a bit of a gender problem. He enjoys pushing students who he feels aren't worth his time though he has developed a bond with Jaden & his friends over time. He got sucked through the portal leading into Dark World by accident.

Jesse Anderson(Johan Anderson): A transfer student who appeared at the same time as Jim, Axel, Adrian, & Prof. Viper. His Crystal Beast deck helped him in many duels and was one of the driving forces behind his finding of the Rainbow Dragon card. Now after sacrificing himself, he has returned. However possesed by Yubel who is seeking out Jaden.

Yubel: A transvestite (sub) female (dub) duel spirit who belonged to Jaden till she caused him to send her up in a spaceship due to a contest sponsored by Kaibacorp. She has now returned though to express her feelings towards Jaden through whatever means are necessary.

All I can say about this episode is why did they have to do the gods theme again? I would have preferred the dark crystal beasts over the dark gods and the seemingly endless ways hat Adrian has to summon Exodia.

I'm glad that they're started airing new episodes again. It was fun to watch some of the reruns for awhile, but I really want to see what happens next. I also had a feeling that these episodes aired in another country since I saw a link to one of the videos for a future episode. Since I had just found it Thursday, I didn't want to spoil myself for the rest of the season and I much rather watch anime on television or DVDs anyway.

As for the episode, I thought that it was really good. I still felt bad for poor Syrus when we see him crying over his brother. That was so sad. I was still crying a bit from the clips from what happened in the last episode. I'm so sensitive like that. At least Jaden was determined to go and avenge all of their friends who have lost, which is one of the many reason why I like him a lot more in this season. I was glad that Syrus wanted to go to make sure that Jaden didn't get consumed with the powers of the Supreme King again. I was surprised that Bastion decided to stay there instead. He's only been with the gang again for like four episodes. Man, the writers in Japan just give Bastion no love. Shame since he's one of my favorite characters, but at least he was able to explain how their friends aren't gone. They're just in a different dimension, which made me happy to hear.

I wasn't surprised to see Yubel was tired out from that duel with Zane. It was really intense. Aridan coming back to Yubel was kind of a surprised. His plan to take down Yubel and become the ruler of this world made sense, considering what he did to become one with Exodia, but it felt like a bit of a weak reason. It seemed like Yubel was trying to get into Aridan's head by toying with the fact that he got rid of the only friend that he honestly had in order to gain power.

I thought that the duel was pretty good. I do agree with bigddan11 that it would have been more interesting to see the Advance Crystal Beasts deck again instead of he Sacred Beasts deck. I also thought that Adrian was abel to use his special Exodia card even faster than before, but I guess that's since we've already seen it in action. Even though I know how useful the Sacred Beasts are in the series, I just can't help but feel like they're not as intimitading as the God Cards.

Anyway, it was kind of cool to see how Yubel was able to fuse all three of the Sacred Beasts like that and take Exodios out of play. Even though Adrian did use Ecko's feelings against her, it seemed like he honestly cared about her too. Honestly, that was kind of weird since he didn't seem to care before and if he had truly cared about her, he wouldn't have sacrificed her in the first place. Oh well. It was kind of touching to see how Ecko still cared about Adrian, despite how he treated her. So we finally see Jaden, Syrus and Crowler reaching where Yubel is and I'm sure that they'll catch up to where they're dueling in the next episode.

Overall, it was a fun episode to get back into the season. I hope that we don't have another break before the season ends. I also hope that next week's episode will have more intense moments and I'm definitely looking foreword to seeing how that turns out.

At last, the wait is finally over! And after watching this ep, I have to say one big sentence:

OH MY DEAR GOD!!!!!!!

If seeing Jesse/Yubel summon all 3 sacred beasts wasn't horrifying enough, seeing him/her fuse them all together almost literally gave me a heart attack!!!

I almost literally cried when Adrian's one chance to win was taken away because of Chaos Phantasm's removing of Exodios.

However, seeing Ecko put her hand on Adrian's was very beautiful. It was her way of saying, "Adrian, don't give up."

I truly shudder to think how this is gonna end. I have a very bad feeling it'll make me wanna scream in fright, literally!!!!!
