If I must MMX was just more fun to play for me. The graphics were all shiny and new, and easily willed me into liking it worth than my previous favorite MM2.
Yup. It's a signature. Go away if you're expecting something interesting here.

Mega Man Classic. It's less serious than X, it introduced me to the series, the lack of wall-climbing and super-powerful upgrades makes the bosses a little more interesting, and I just like the style of it. It also includes Rockman & Forte, possibly the best game in the whole series. I like both Classic and X ALMOST equally, but I prefer Classic slightly for those reasons.

I've been wanting to play Megaman for a while, but never got the chance to. But I'd probably try out the Megaman Classic and the latest Megaman to come out so far. I don't know.

Although old-school Megaman is still awesome, Megaman X is the king.

    Mega Man, because I'd rather play its 4 5 and 6 than MMX's 4 5 and 6.

I liked MMX just a little more, mainly because of Zero. I will still always hold the classic Megaman as one of the best games ever made though.

The Mega Man X series is my favorite, especially because you can play as Zero!

    -Carnage-
He can lift 50 tons, he can change his form, he doesn't trigger the Spidey sense, what does Spider-Man have over him?
    Mary Jane of course

The classic MegaMan series will always remain king. The first game is still fun to this day (I played it again just last week). I haven't played 8 or 9(aka Rockman & Forte), but 1-7 were EXCELLENT.

X is alright. Not as great as classic, but still pretty good.

Never played Legends. Haven't heard much good, tho. Maybe once I get a PSX I'll try it out.

    Hmm...

I don't really know. I like them all. I just voted for X cuz'...well...I recently played it.

    - Legends: Fun, new version of Megaman, this time, no sidescrollers. [Gets 1/4 of my vote]
    - Classical: All...nothing but the good oldies! Very fun, challenging at times. Nothing better than the oldies. The only series so far that got Forte! [Gets 1/2 of vote]
    - X: I just suck at this. But...it's cooler and much more challenging. [I told you, I suck, so no comments from those who say it's easy] Zero is great, but Forte...he's just better. Much better, IMO. [1/4 vote]

Also, I liked Mega Man X a lot more due to the fact that is has ANIME CUTSCENES!!!!!! Sure, Megaman 8 for PSX & Saturn had 'em too, but X has a lot more of them.

What, no room here for Mega Man Battle Network? That was a recently released Game Boy Advance game set in a world where people have virus-busting avatar robots, and the main character has Mega Man. And then there's the soon-to-be released Mega Man Zero, set about 100 years after the X series in which Mega Man has gone nuts and its up to Zero to stop him. Hrmmmm. (Dang, this little robot has a ton of continuities!)

I actually like all the series. The regular Mega Man series kicked things off, and I love most of the "man" bosses. The X series has some great "serious" anime designs. While I don't like the way Mega Man is portrayed in the Legends series, I LOVE the Bonnes! Tron is a futuristic Lucy van Pelt, and I get a kick out of the way Tiesel switches from hystronic to super-serious and back again... it's wacky Japanese villainy done at its best, and the English voice work is wonderful. Anyone here besides me get a kick out of the Misadventures of Tron Bonne?

Heh, and here I thought I was the only one who played that game and liked it. I found it a very fun game to spent spare time on, the character's were pretty cool also.

I really liked the little Servbots (AKA Lego men) also.

I really liked all of the Mega Man games. The originals were great, and the Bonnes were funny to watch (especially the Servobots), but for some reason, I love X the best. It had the greatest appeal to me. I like the animal bosses better than the men bosses. And of course there's Zero! It was so cool to play as him!

MEGA MAN X!!!! For some reason, I couldn't ever beat ANY of the classic Mega Man games, but I was about 8 years old when I played Mega Man III, so my skills were still lacking. I've only played the X series up to X3, though (No anime cutscences for me, Dr. Reef! )
