    FUNimation Channel: I Found It!

    Like This Thread!
I'm breaking in a new LCD TV set (traded in my Wii for it at the local Rent-A-Center), and found the hard-to-find FUNimation Channel while doing a channel scan. The picture and sound were clear as a bell, and I've been watching it every chance I can get. In addition to shows like DragonBall, The Slayers, Blue Gender, Revolutionary Girl Utena and Case Closed, there are also some cute shows like His and Her Circumstances, Fruits Basket, and a show about pandas whose title escapes me right now. (They're on a quest for seven magical stones.*)

Next best thing to having a 24/7/365 Anime Network out where I live.

Do any of you out there have it out where you are?

"This is my childhood. Don't mess with my childhood..."

"You just became part of a bigger universe. You just don't know it yet..."

I think it's still being carried in seattle, but the digital tuner on the big screen at work couldn't snag it.

Its Seattle carriage ended a while ago. They also lost Los Angeles and Honolulu.

    I don't think it's available in MA
Conan-San: This isn't Fist of the North star, for god's sake. This is thriller action, the sort of action that requires the use of your brain.
Rembrant: Simply put, the whole thing about some genius/psycho kid going into a God complex because he found a magic notebook that kills people simply wasn't to my liking, Funny enough, I didn't like Fist of the North Star either.
Conan-San: Well, there you go. This is Fist of the North Star...FOR THE MIND!

Well, if you have Dish Network, that means you also have Colours TV which airs a FUNimation block on their network.

That block airs all the shows that PeppeRaskell1 mentioned above, I believe.

I have it, since February; all thanks to my big satellite dish.
If you want the FUNimation Channel, click here for more information (remember if there is no demand for it, you will never get it).

Yeah, and as Josh said, I do indeed already know that. However, it's only on for like two hours each night and there's a small number of shows. The block used to be an hour or two longer.

Whoa, you're right. I didn't know they had shortened it from four hours to two hours.

I guess I never really watched the block, but that's still a bummer.

Wasn't two hours the length the block originally was when it 1st started? I think it was, but then expanded for a while.

Yes, it was originally two huors. Then it expanded to four, and now it's back to two. Some of the shows from the earlier slot were carried over and replaced the original shows on the block, but I still wish it was four hours. I miss seeing Spiral on Colours.

Yeah, I recently noticed the shortened time.
A big problem with the Colours TV block is how they rerun the same episodes a billion times.

Yes, they used the CN edit of Yu Yu Hakusho for the first few episodes, but apparently they started showing them uncut later on. And Dragon Ball is of course edited. No way that can air uncut.

Recently the Project A-ko movies were completely uncut.
