    New Toei Coproduction Project...?

    Like This Thread!
I'm NOT quite sure if this involves CartoonNetwork or not, but this was brought up in Fusion Fall Feature Thread in the CartoonNetwork board. Apparently George Krstic signed aboard for a Toei Feature project, that would be based off one of the past properties. I'm not quite sure as to what properties one of them might be, but we can only wait and see, I suppose.

I was hoping for a movie for Daft Punk's Human After All, but this is much better

edit: Oh, a Toei Show. My Bad Probably DBZ..

The Toei project is different from the Fusion Fall project. It's not PPGZ or Megas either since it's based on one of Toei's older properties, not Cartoon Network's properties. Though I wonder . . . George's a talented guy with an eye for humor and action. Do you know any older Toei properties that could possibly fit in that category?
What does the X stand for? It's definitely not Extreme. Extreme starts with E.

The only thing I can think of is Dr. Slump, and that already got a movie revival earlier this year.

(I'm not factoring in Dragon Ball, since it doesn't make sense to get an almost-random person from America to do a movie of that.)

I know many wouldn't classify it as being older, but I could see it being Bobobo so the anime can get a true finish, especially if the ratings are still good here in the US.
College football, basketball, the NFL, the NBA, and MLB. I may not be an expert, but these sports always keep me fascinated if the game is good!

I'll bet you anything it's one of the shows on this list:
    http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/english/c.../sf_robot.html

A lot of them like Getter Robo and Mazinger Z both saw remakes in the 2000s already, saw we can probably guess it's not those. But it's just got to involve a giant robot...

Given the Bobobo manga got canned due to unpopularity, I can't see them giving the anime another shot.

Also rule out Cyborg 009, since Toei probably doesn't have any of the rights to it besides the series they made. Plus, it already got remade four years ago.

It's very likely one of Toei's super robot shows because that'd be right up George's alley.

Why, Megas XLR is one of the best comedy scifi series ever made.

More of it would be a good thing.

Plus it would mean Megas is one step closer to being in a Super Robot Wars game.
"Burning Man"? I think you mean "Burning Urethra" -- that place is a massive colony of venereal diseases being nurtured by their human servants. -zombie

Megas would be the most broken, yet awesome character in the history of forever.

Well keep in mind he's working on a Toei property. They don't specifically mention if it's an animated property or not, but I'm willing to bet it's from Toei Animation.

I cuold see them giving the anime another shot if the ratings in America are high enough. It happened for Ultimate Muscle: Kinnikuman Legacy.

Nopie...I discussed it with CN a bit tho. I can't really divulge more, besides it's so early anything I'd say would be highly susceptible to change. Sorry guys
