Well, I'm pumped. This is the first use of the AD calendar in a Gundam series, right?

I wish I knew a little more, like who is directing, but I figure we'll learn that in the next few months.

There were strong rumours they'd been in talks with Fullmetal Alchemist's director. No idea if that's good or not (barely touched the anime and from what I've heard it loses it once the show goes into original content).

Looking at the promo, I'm reminded of back when we got the first SEED ones. VERY easy for a teaser promo to look good, much harder for a series to live up to it.

Oh yes indeed that says Toonami to me. Gundam may finally return to Toonami in 2008 (or 2009 I guess). Hopefully it doesn't suck.

The designs look like what Okawara's been doing for CE. As for characters, I could be wrong but isn't that the Geass character designer?

This does make me wonder this means for the CE movie and CE in general. We know they want to have at least 3 types of Gundam market on the go.

Look good. From what I read in the blog the story sound interesting too. So where exatcly does series fit in the Gundam continuity or is it stand alone?

Edit- Never mind the blog says "the setting would neither be in the Universal Century of the original nor the Cosmic Era of Gundam SEED".

Very flashy. Looks good, I'm waiting to see the staff announcement. I'd be pretty happy if rumors are true and Seiji Mizushima ends up directing.

CE's fate probably still depends on the movie. But if we were just waiting on CE it would've been mid to late 2008 before we got another series, so I'm glad we have this.

From what I've been hearing, the 00 of the title is due to the fact that the series will show the events that lead up to the start of a gundam contiunity calender.

Though I'm certain now that the ratings for To Terra (Unless this was the last one) will go through the freaking roof as people get desprate for infomation on MSG00.

For the benefit of all, the Gundam 00 trailer in pictures. I don't know about the mecha designs, but the characters sure don't seem like SEED designs to me and I don't think they're quite CLAMP's style either. Perhaps these will make analysis easier, on top of being cool to look at.

Now, characters. I think the third one could be a woman, which would mean three guys and a girl as main characters.

I get the feeling they asked Okawara to try and do some designs which were more super robot like. If not him, they look like whoever did the initial 5 SEED Gundams and possibly the Astray.
