So, who in YOUR opinion is stronger? Sasuke or Naruto?
Right now, I'm not sure because...

We really haven't seen much to justify either one is stronger than the other, however with Shippuuden, I have no idea, but it seems like there will be an all out battle to determine this differance in strength.
Sasuke was certainly ahead at the start of the time skip, he was even able to seal the Nine Tailed Fox. But Naruto's come far since then so its pretty hard to say. He's finally at a point where he can fight well without relying on the Kyuubi, and he's able to take on Akatsuki members and win now.
Right now Sasuke is the clear rival for Naruto, so I think they'll stay roughly even for the foreseeable future. Long term Naruto will likely come out ahead, it is his show. Right now I'd say its either even or a slight advantage in favor of Sasuke, although that could change big time once Naruto's fully mastered his new technique.
It's Shonen...of course the most powerful character is going to be Naruto.
Sasuke will be ahead of him all the way up until the end, at which point Naruto will gather all his fighting spirit/strength/deux ex machina ability and come back to beat Sasuke/save him from the darkness.
Of course, maybe Kishi will throw us a curveball and have Chouji/Tenten/Konohamaru beat Sasuke or something...hey, a guy can hope, right?

I think Naruto edged ahead of Sasuke during the Chuunin Tournament and that Sasuke didn't go back ahead until after going into the barrell and getting the Orochimaru curse power-up activated fully.

I agree.
Through the first part of the series, Sasuke started out ahead, but the balance seemed to shift back and forth as Sasuke and Naruto's rivalry really got going until the Valley of the End, in which Sasuke was definitely on top.

Currently, though, it's hard to say. I'd say Sasuke was stronger at the first reunion in part 2, but with that motivation spurring him, I think Naruto is now at least close to the new Sasuke. When he completes his new technique, it could be a completely different story. But on the other hand, we never did see to what extent Sasuke had improved over the time-skip since the reunion was interrupted.
Since Naruto's new technique seems pretty ridiculously overpowered right now, something will probably conveniently come up to prevent him from using it 99 percent of the time. So Sasuke still has the upper hand.
