Crocodile on the Big Screen? One Piece Movie 8 an Arabasta Remake

Some new info and pictures have come out, and it looks like the next One Piece movie will be a remake of the Arabasta Arc.

Personally, I think this is a great idea, and I'm interested to see how it looks.

It's probably going to be like the 10th Anniversary Dragon Ball movie, you know a retelling of an actual story arc with better animation. It is my favorite story arc so I look forward to it.

Yeah. This proboally going to be "Dragonball: The Path to Power" but for One Piece's Alabasta arc.

Which... Could be awesome. I just hope the animation is signifiacantly better than the actual series. That way it'll feel new, even if it's a remake.

Oh, don't worry. The info came from a magazine, but it didn't have any movie footage, actually. Just info. All it had was pics of the Alabasta arc, but from the anime.

I mentioned the Dragon Ball film without even realizing that the One Piece manga is going to reach the 10 year mark next year. It premiered in Weekly Shonen Jump back in 1997.
