Otakus?! What is the deal with Otakus?!
Why can't they just appreciate all forms of animation? Sure, I do believe that a lot of the stuff that comes out of Japan is of a much higher quality, & usually end up having a much cooler story line. BUT, that doesn't mean I'm going to ignor every other form of entertainment. I like a lot of American/Canadian produced series. Sure, my favorite series are all Anime, but still...I wont forsake everything else just because one thing is better!

I am a HARDCORE otaku. A lot of those people who ignore all non-Japanese animation are snobs anyway. I managed an anime store and ran into some truly ignorant, stuck-up, and annoying otaku. There's plenty of bad Japanese animation and plenty of good American, Canadian, etc. animation. These are the same morons who bash DBZ since it's now mainstream. However, before it got popular these same people were coming to me for fansubs. People need to just watch what they like and not spend so much time bashing what they don't. A true otaku can appreciate animation regardless of its origin.
