No more "Pokemon" on Kids' WB! ?

    Like This Thread!
Did Kids' WB! have some other motive by announcing the addition of a new "Scooby-Doo" show this fall? 4Kids Entertainment has just won the rights to program Fox Kids this fall. 4Kids Entertainment makes three Kids' WB! shows: "Pokemon," "Cubix" and "Yu-Gi-Oh!" If Kids' WB! has lost "Pokemon" (which looks likely), it means it needs a new "top dog" (no pun intended, okay, well maybe ) and "Scooby" may be it. Anyway, for more info, read this article from Toon Zone News.

And to think, all 4Kids needed was to make subs available. Even if Cardcaptors was more 'high-profile' than CCSakura, the latter seems to have a longer life in the US via subs.

Pokemon is not that good, but Scooby is definitely no better!

You're jumping to conclusions. So the WB announced that they're making a new Scooby show, big deal! I won't believe Pokemon is leaving until I hear it from 4Kids themselves.

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.

    I say...

....to the idea of Pokemon (and those other 4kids shows) possibly leaving, "good riddance". While "Scooby" certainly isn't "Animaniacs", still like him a lot more than Pikachu & Co. ...

Still hoping it's all true...and that it's a sign of KWB returning *humor* to its airwaves...

Figures. Still, at least their lodging might not be quite so permanent now... maybe in a couple of years they'll finally migrate to Fox...

    Sigh.

Why the negativity? If you don't like something, don't watch it. It's almost like you protest too much.

I'd have to agree with what Rae said. If tou don't like it, jsut turn it to something else at 10.

Yeah, I don't think it's necessarily that, it's just that these guys, including myself, have been fans of Kids' WB! since it's incarnation. It's sort of sad to see how it's changed so much. I don't reall hate "Pokemon" at all, I just choose not to watch it. I watched it when it first came out, but it became overplayed and I grew out of it.
