Wow - I just saw the PV myself for the first time, and it is absolutely excellent! I love the anime/live-action integration they do in it.

But, you're right, Sony does need to get their act togethor. Not only are they taking to long to do anything with a property that should be about a guarunteed hit in the US, but I have to wonder if they've already forgotten that we already hate them enough as it is thanks to them screwing us over with Astroboy and Cyborg 009. As it stands, they've got a lot of work to do if they expect any of the more conscientious fans to support them.
Word is that their is some content that won't even fly on AS later on (something rape related IIRC,) so Sony has probably been forced to shop it elsewhere. Not to mention the fact that with Trinity Blood already on AS, they likely aren't going to be hot to buy another vampire show right off the bat.Originally Posted by Ben

The song is awesome, indeed. But IMO, the second OP is much better and the best of the series.
This would be a perfect series for AS. I can't say it would be a gauranteed hit, 'cause there's been other series many people thought would be huge successes, but weren't *cough*Champloo*cough*. But I really wish AS would get this.
About the whole rape thing, nothing is ever shown. It's all offscreen. But it's obvious what happened. I think maybe it actually could fly at TV-MA, maybe.

IMHO, I think the second OP is highly overratted just because it's a HYDE song. It's certainly not HYDE's best - heck, there are more suited songs for a Blood+ OP from HYDE's album FAITH that they could've chosen (like Countdown).

We know the dub has at least been partially cast, though I'd bet recording has already begun, so if anything's holding up the release it's probably not that.

They put a hell of a lot of work into this one, and the result is magnificent.
