FullMetal Alchemist Movie: The Conquerer of Shambala LE Extras Revealed(working list)
As listed from rightstuf.com:
This limited edition comes with a 64-Page hardback book, ten 5x7 portrait cards, and a bonus DVD with extras.
DVD Features: "The Making of
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie."
Bonus DVD Features: 54 Minute Interview with Japanese Cast and Crew, 3 Audio Commentaries, 2 Japanese Staff Commentaries, US Staff Commentary, Extended Trailer.
Spoken Languages: English, Japanese, English subtitles.
And our friendly, neighborhood Funi rep, Lance had a few things to add over at the AnimeonDVD forums
Just a little premature in the annoucement -it got leaked from our home video department. (We don't even have approval back on the front and back covers!!!) The contents are not 100% final so keep that in mind. Very, very close, but not final.
The listing is mixing what goes in the limited and regular editions. There is no reversible cover in the limited edition. The hard back book is the front and back cover. The 64 page book is stitched and bound in the book.
The limited edition does not have an additional movie booklet. It has the big book. The regular edition is clear amaray DVD with an insert booklet with a few pages from the larger movie book found in the limited edition.
Still too early for all of this to be 100% accurate.
And if anyone wants to finish off FMA, Rightstuf.com is having a Funimation sale that ends Jun 4th. 40% off dvd's: http://www.rightstuf.com/main.shtml
My wallet, it cries

If all of that holds true as the final extras, FUNi was able to get their hands on all the extras from the R2 limited release, as well as include a commentary by the US staff. There were 3 discs with the R2 release, but was only because the third disc only included all the trailers and TV spots for the movie, which I think could have fit on the second disc.
Thank you FUNimation, you guys have done an excellent job with this series and I mean that in every way imaginable.

Wow, 30 minutes: took you long enough
And lance said on the thread at AoD that the stuff on disc 3 has been indeed spread out in the first 2 discs

I guess I'm losing my touch
That and I'm doing some things that slow up my connection, if you know what I mean

Ah...I know the first disc of R2 only had the movie, with no extras, so they should have been able to put more on it. When I got the movie and put in the third disc and watched it through, I was like...that's it?

I just ordered the LE DVD. The RightStuf sale is a great thing!

i already bought the limited edition on dvd (hong kong release). same 64 page booklet, 10 postcard illustration set included. but they skimped out on the bonus features. the 2nd disc only had all the teaser and trailers, plus 2 exclusive interviews with Seiji Mizushima and the producer of FMA while they were promoting the film in Hong Kong. the bonus material only lasted about 20 minutes. felt so ripped off.
i decided i'm going to buy the limited edition american dvd just for the special features and the english dub.
in addition to that, i even bought the manga version of the movie. talk about spending too much cash on a single movie.
