New FUNimation Title Annoucement at Megacon this weekend

We at FUNimation are doing double duty this weekend. Part of us are going to New York Comic Con and part attending Megacon.

We have two panels at Megacon. We will announce yet another title announcement. It's a big one.

Let the guessing begin.

Dear sweet lord I hope it's Bleach.

I swear, if Funi doesn't get that show, I'm going to have a fit of some sort (though if ADV somehow got it, that would be fine as well, though Funi is preferred).

After Trinity Blood and Black Cat being aquired (along with Spiral and FMA), Funi is fastly becoming one of my favorite companies (second only to ADV).

A 'big one' this time eh? I have a couple guesses again then...

Bleach - I really, really, really hope it is. I honestly feel FUNimation would be the best company for this.

Beck - Someone needs to license this show and if the announcement isn't Bleach, my second choice would be Beck.

Monster - I guessed this the last time you gave us forewarning about a license at Katsucon, but I'm going to guess this here as well.

Honey & Clover - I'm not sure if this would be considered a big one, but I'm going to guess it anyway.

Fullmetal Alchemist The Movie - Counquer of Shamballa - I don't think this has been offically announced, but you guys are essentially a shoe-in to get this anyway.

Of course, it would be a dream come true if say, Nanoha or Pretty Cure was licensed, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for them (esspecially Nanoha) but I'd consider Pretty Cure a big one so maybe it has an outside chance.

I strongly suspect Viz has or will have Bleach, just because it seems like the kind of property Viz would nowadays have first dibs on thanks to the Shounen Jump tie-in. Of course, if Funi does announce Bleach, I won't be surprised nor will I mind.

If it ain't Bleach, I'll go with what I hope it is: Monster. For the love of Rock, someone license Monster.

Considering Lance's reaction when the FMA movie was mentioned at the Katsucon panel last weekend, there's a good chance that the title announced at Megacon will be just that, although part of me is still speculating if it's going to be either a Gonzo title (Solty Rei or Black Cat) or a school-based title that fits the pattern of their recent announcements (School Rumble, which appears in the same weekly manga as Negima and Tsubasa Chronicles, or Pani Poni Dash, which is from the same company who did Tsukuyomi ~Moon Phase~).

BTW, will there be different announcements at both Megacon and New York Comic Con this weekend (aka will one title be announced at Megacon this weekend while a different title gets announced at NY Comic Con)?

School Rumble (Maybe they got a package deal with KimiNozo)

Monster (Someone will have to get it one day)

Suzuka (It seems to be pretty popular, and Del-Ray is releaseing the manga)

Sasami Club (They seem to be getting all the Tenchi stuff now)

FMP: The Second Raid (Like Monster, somebody has to get it)

Pretty Cure, PC: Max Heart, PC: Splash Star (They need something big for the Funi channel. If anyone could make Pretty Cure work in NA, Funi could.)

The FMA movie (They probably have it dubbed already)

Kamichu (It could work)

Pani Poni Dash (Maybe a package deal with Tsukuyomi~Moon Phase)

Dr. Slump (They have had a domain name regestered for it.)

Keroro Gunso (If Bandai hasn't gotten by now, it's more than likely fair game)
