Looney Tunes clips on Anime Music Videos
Some of you probably heard about those fan-made anime music videos over at www.animemusicvideos.org.
I was thinking that if I made my very own anime music video, I would add some Looney Tunes clips, as well as Cartoon Cartoon and Justice League, to the vid, making it a total entertaiment experience.
One of my visions is to create Anime music vids, combining Bugs Bunny outsmarting Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck getting whacked by an anvil with Gene Starwind (from Outlaw Star) basting his caster gun and Sailor Moon using her Moon Spiral Heart Attack, all set to the beats of Fatboy Slim's hit "Weapon of Choice". It'll be cool.
But this lead me to one problem. Can I really use Looney Tunes for my music videos, some of the vids on the site contain Powerpuff Girls and Batman Beyond footage. I really want to know if it's ok to use LT clips?

Well, I don't know if they'd want you using LT and MM footage, but the cartoon Cartoons and WBA shows are owned by the same people as the Looney Tunes, so I don't see why they would get bent out of shape.
Also, I don't recall Daffy ever getting hit by an anvil (unless you count Toon Marooned, which I don't). I always thought of anvils as more of an Animaniacs/Tiny Toons thing. They aren't used in Looney Tunes quite as much as people think (though they were employed often in the the Road Runner cartoons).
Daffy has hit a lot of people, though... Especially Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Hitler, trees, and that sleepy guy from "A Pest In The House."

Hi!
If you are asking whether the AnimeMusicVideos.org site would mind you posting a video with Loney Tunes clips, it might be best to ask them first. Personally, I don't see why they should have a problem with it. If you've ever seen the Batman video done to Metallica's "The Unforgiven," you'll know it's just as good as any anime-only music video out there.
I think that you should make your video the way that you want to - and good luck with it! I am thinking of doing a music video for Justice League (most likely using Darude's "Feel the Beat"), but I want to wait until I get more of the episodes. Let us know when your video is finished - I'd love to see it!

i think "kryptonite" by 3 doors down is a perfect song to use Superman footage with.

I also heard someone say that it would be nice to do a Superman music video to Five For Fighting's "Superman (It's Not Easy)" - I think that would be interesting, although the video would probably be a little sad to watch, since that is the mood of the song.

Anvils
Avery used them plenty, but that was after he migrated to MGM. Daffy did get blasted a lot by shotguns, pistols, and lasers, but seldom did blunt object humor--although I recall a boulder in "Daffy's Inn Trouble"....
