Pretty much the only enjoyable thing on in the morning, and it only keeps getting better. Hopefully today's episode will include more Faust goodness and less Lyserg angst. Sadly, I doubt either of my wishes will come true if the preview from last week is right. *sigh*

I think we all know by now. She can strap people into chairs, chains and other junk without lifting a finger. This episode was pretty damn creepy and further proves my point about the X-Laws being a cult not a christian group. That pharoah guy (I forget his name) seemed to be kickass until Jeanne had that Mash guy give him the ax. I mean he had ESCARGOON'S voice from Kirby and they killed him off. Anyone who kills a guy that speaks in the voice of my favorite Kirby character is no friend of mine. At least now I can fit Jeanne in to my fanfics instead of saying she got killed off.

Hooray for Yoh, looks like he's finally breaking through to Lyserg! Oh and Len and Joco's gag about Jeanne was pretty funny as well:
Len: I wonder if when she flies, she rides cargo.
Joco: I was gonna make that...
Len: Too late, I beat you to it.

[Freedom Fighter]

- So, the first appearance of the 'Shaman Team from the North,' which I saw in the Power of Spirit game. Now if I can only remember their names... eh, they fight Yoh next week according to the preview, so we'll find out anyway.
- Pai Long's reduced to being a bag carrier for Jun's (and Tamara's, in this case) shopping sprees... no wonder he doesn't fight anymore.
- What's with Trey's stick? When did he get one of those wooden antiquity objects like the one Yoh has?
- Yoh obviously thought having Lyserg join the X-Laws would be beneficial to him? Well... I suppose even Yoh is subject to an occasional lack of judgement.
- And finally, Iron Maiden Jeanne comes out of her shell (thanks to those of you who ruined the mystery last week!). Obviously (and no doubt), she's going to be a force to be reckoned with.

"Lyserg Lost" gets an 8 out of 10.

1. How sad. The great Pai Long has been reduced to mere shopping carrier and hasn't even joined a fight this season.

2. The return of Escargoon (Kirby)!

4. It's a surprise that Rio was not among those who fell in love with Jeanne. After all, this is the same Rio who fell in love with kids Lyserg and Milly! :anime:

6. Ha! In the still pic, Clowy was piloting Lyserg's crystal like a plane. So that's how it works!

I've also heard Ted Lewis's Escargoon voice (It's almost definitely a Paul Lynde impression) used, in all shows and characters, for BABA in F-Zero. Considering that the character is more like an African/Jamacian-type guy in the games, that's absurd.

*Sigh* Once again we see the X-Laws' "we're so high and mighty" superiority complex.

What ever happened to "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"?
I'm not saying the X-Laws, Yoh's group, and the Egyptian shaman all travel together, but they could at least come to an agreement to fight Zeke instead of each other.

Oh well, shaman are always trigger happy.
